Elephant Tipper 430
The NCAA info came in handy for me just a minute ago in defending AU against the GA goobers in my family via text.
Elephant Tipper 430
Direct quote of NCAA 13.01.1 Eligibility Effects of Recruiting Violation. 13.01.1 Eligibility Effects of Recruiting Violation. Previous Cite: 13.01 GENERAL PRINCIPLES Next Cite: 13.01.2 Institutional Responsibility in Recruitment. The recruitment of a student-athlete by a member institution or any representative of its athletics interests in violation of the Association's legislation, as acknowledged by the institution or established through the Association's enforcement procedures, shall result in the student-athlete becoming ineligible to represent that institution in intercollegiate athletics. The Committee on Student-Athlete Reinstatement may restore the eligibility of a student involved in such a violation only when circumstances clearly warrant restoration. A student is responsible for his or her involvement in a violation of NCAA regulations during the student's recruitment, and involvement in a major violation (see Bylaw 19.02.2.2) may cause the student to become permanently ineligible for intercollegiate athletics competition at that institution. Rabern57 0
Basically means Cam could have walked in MSU's front door and asked for money himself in a written contract in front of the NCAA officials. Not got it for whatever reason then signed with Auburn like nothing happened and he would STILL BE CLEAR to play at Auburn. So all this he said she said middle men crap surely doesn't matter. Thats the way I view it. I liked how you described it. Sometimes you just have to give an exaggerated example to explain it best.
