Bama Recruiting Violation

Let me preface this statement by saying that I don't think Bama should be penalized for this because it was not their fault.  But, I was watching the Alabama Ole Miss game, and sometime during the 4th quarter, they showed Barry Sanders Jr. at the game wearing a Bama hat and flashed his name across the screen.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought it was an NCAA violation to have a recruit's name mentioned on TV before he signs with a school.  Just curious if anybody else noticed this and can tell me if this is actually an NCAA violation.

I saw it as well but I doubt if they get penalized for it since espn did it hard to connect it back to the bammers.
