  1. Not that I've found. If someone thinks Hugh Freeze will be successful, or this team can improve, you get jumped on by people calling themselves fans.
  2. This is just proving my point. My posts bother you because they aren't negative enough?
  3. Hey, if you want to stay off my comments about how good Auburn could be, great. Jump on my ass for being positive or seeing a way forward and I'll call you out.
  4. My posts are about Auburn, and how they can improve. When other posters crap on what I say because they don't believe in Hugh or this team, I don't know what else to call it.
  5. Show me a comment you've made supporting Auburn. All I see is you bitching.
  6. I'm at least a fan of Auburn. I can't tell who you're a fan of but it's definitely not Auburn.
  7. Nobody's really giving Freeze credit for the improvements he made this year because of the Auburn record. The defense is playing well and getting better, and the offense is moving the ball as well as they ever have, all with subpar QB play. Turnovers have been the bane of this year's Auburn team, not lack of offensive like last year. And that's with Auburn playing 2 of the best defenses in the league in OU and GA. Hugh has the defensive and offensive schemes to play with the big boys. He doesn't have the players (yet), and (IMO) the offensive coaching staff is lacking. Those can be fixed. Personally I don't care if you like Freeze, don't like Freeze, don't care about Freeze, are in love with Freeze, whatever. I'm here to talk ball, not obsess over the coach like teenage girls over the Beatles.
  8. I think you have the teams you root for mixed up. Go bandwagon Bama or Georgia dude.
  9. I already answered that. I'm done with this conversation, you're wrong, you don't pay attention and just respond with useless anger. We get it, this isn't your team or how you'd do it. Just remember that this isn't your team when Auburn turns things around and fights for SEC championships in a few years.
  10. We've lost more games. The offense is a lot better in many ways than last year, and younger. Stop throwing the baby out with the bath water.
  11. Yes. I blame the Auburn coaching for the current offensive woes, 100%. Which is why I said they needed a new OC in a previous post. Payton Thorne not working out is only partially the player's fault. That Auburn has PT, Hank, Holden and apparently none of them can run the RPO successfully, AND we're not running the ball is all on the coaches, which means Hugh. You're focusing on the negative and saying Hugh hasn't adapted, etc. I'm focusing on the solution; get a new OC.
  12. IMO the difference between Vandy and Auburn is the QB. Pavia's expertise with his system vs Thorne, who still looks uncomfortable and lost at times in the RPO. Knowing what we know now, it's pretty easy to say they'd be 4-1 right now if the offense had focused on the running game from the start. But it feels like Hugh's offense "has to" pass for some reason. I don't know if that's for recruiting reasons, or because heavy running teams can't come from behind, or some other reasons, but we don't have a QB who can run the RPO this year and that has been a drag on this whole season.
  13. To me it feels like they need to be 8+ wins next year and in the hunt for the SEC title in 2026 (in the hunt, not dominant). That's a tall order because the Auburn QB position next year is unknown, and the SEC is the best, top-to-bottom, it's been in years. Also, offensive player development and play calling has to improve. On the plus side, out side the QB position Auburn has young talent at every position. The defensive play development has been great, defensive game planning and play calling has been good and improving. What can Auburn do to get to 8+ wins next year? They need to get a really good portal QB and (IMHO) a new OC. Sorry, but the offensive game planning, play calling and player development has been seriously lacking. Dunno how that's being split between Hugh and Derrick Nix, but it needs to be improved and Hugh obviously doesn't have time to do everything himself (and I don't blame him, the new college landscape asks too much of coaches; football programs now need general managers). The offense has been a liability all year, despite having the best running back and receiver in the SEC. Despite being a senior, Thorne isn't able to run this offense and the coaches don't know how to establish the running game. And they may not want to. It feels like the way this team has been coached this year and the plays being called are all happening to help recruit QBs and receivers.
