It's pretty clear we tried our hardest to replace him before the bowl game then after his awful performance, but it's all we've got. Hopefully Hugh in his ear helps his pre snap reads.

Jones is about to graduate or just graduated. He's not going to be on the roster next year. If we have two walk-ons battling out for our 3rd spot, that isn't good. That's not an SEC depth chart. The can get 5-10 carries in blowouts, they can't get 5-10 carries vs an SEC team. The 1-2 HS kids and and 1-2 transfers we take will be immediately above them.

Do you think Battie and Jackson are going to really be in the rotation for snaps this year? Now compare that say we landed a top 10 RB like Cobb was last year? Cobb got 33 carries to Sean Jackson's 6. Walk-Ons provide a very important role and work hard. Often get awarded a scholarship from it, doesn't often mean they are inline or ready for a true contributing role

If we only take 1 HS RB we'd probably need 2 transfers. 4 is pretty thin

Gonna go out on a limb and say Battie isn't going to play this year. Most likely ever again. Jackson is a walk-on who will get some carries in blowouts and that's it.

IMO, this is why Thorne had better numbers at MSU. He basically had NFL WRs out play the DBs for bad balls. Hopefully Cam/KLS/RF help him a lot

Seems to be against a lot of thought we'd always take two. Most of the pay sites think we take 2, be interesting to see how it plays out Would be odd considering we didn't take an RB in the 24 class and will only have 2 scholarship after this season. Think it was clear we'd definitely need one in the portal, but only 4 RBs seems a bit light.

I'm not the one continuing to discuss it. 🤷♂️. hadn't been a topic of discussion in almost a full day Seems the one upset is the guy replying to his own post from 24 hours ago and tagging me b/c I used an emoji that upset him. I'm new here & wasn't aware of the angst toward some of the site features. I will limit their future use.

Not sure what the Braves manager has to do with this.... I mean, I'm sure they do, but at some point you're trying to get that toothpaste back in a tube. It was on every paid message board, twitter, and multiple free boards. If a schmuck like me knows about it, even with some light connections in Auburn, anyone that is important knows about it and the cats out of the bag.

Kid is 100% worth a scholarship if we can land Elee. We'll see what happens when we don't. Seems to be a super fringe player unless he grows and/or shoots up the rankings during his Jr season. Rankings don't mean everything, but they are typically directionally correct -
