Your wasting your time explaining this. Even though there are numerous examples of these kinda losses during a rebuild. Even though it was a total embarrassing loss.. Some can't see the forest for the trees. I would say more times than not theses losses happen at some point in a rebuild

I thought Thorne may get a chance to be QB 1 next yr. Not sure now. Saw him on sidelines last nite and Robby Ashford, of all people, was trying to calm him down. I just don't think he and Freeze like each other. So there may be a mutual parting of ways.

I agree, it's the coaches job to get the team ready. Freeze failed on that this week. Disagree on the roster. We count heavily on Vandy, W KY, North TX, Tulsa, Jackson St, FIU, Purdue, East Carolia transfers and a couple true freshmen. I'm not sure a WR on our roster would start for NM St. Maybe Jav. Johnson?

I tried to explain this over and over. We have Group of 5 roster. At WR we are worse than G5. Somehow, people watch us play and think we have all this talent. We should never lose to NM St. But, that's the reality. The last 3 wins got everyone thinking we are better than we are. It's still the same roster. Good post BTW

The fact remains. We start a ton of non Power 5 transfers. I agree, AU had no business losing, but this isn't a talented team. We have no WR talent AT ALL

I'm not saying Montgomery should be kept or fired. But, how do u insiders know that it's all his fault. Who is calling for QBs to be switched out? Who is calling the plays when Ashford is in,? Who approves the gameplan each week? Who is dabbling in the play calling every week? Who makes the decision to not run tempo? If they wanna fire the cat, ok fine. But don't make him out to be the only problem and firing him alone will fix all the problems. This reeks of a Gus scenario to me. He calls the plays, he don't call the plays...
