Bo is gone. TJ isn't gonna get more mobile.. D DAVIS seems to be both. I find it hard to believe Davis game can't translate to college. He played against the best in TX. But we won't know till hopefully this spring how that translates. Nothing personal on TJ,it's with our OL the QB has got to be mobile and move around some. IMO.

Most say he is QB 1 to open practice. I've made it clear who I want to see play

Alot of folks have said Bo was mediocre.. I mostly agree.. My point being TJ is the exact opposite of Bo. Maybe a little more accurate, ALOT less mobile.. I like a QB who can do both somewhat well. Hence, my like for D Davis. Seems to be a gamer and have the IT factor. But I also know that was HS tape I looked at so who knows if it translates to college

All the talk of Bo was mediocre, not accurate, not consistent etc. Most of which I agree with.. Yet even with all that, he performed better than TJ ( minus 1 drive vs GA ST).. Bo did win 6 games as a starter. TJ was winless . Yet, he is our best option this Year? Whoever the QB is they better be able to move in the pocket and scramble some. That will be required with our OL

OR.. on the flip side, none of that happens and he runs a bootleg on the last drive and we ice the game away.. I was clamoring for TJ as much as anyone.. But after Bo got hurt and TJ went in, I knew right away why Bo was the starter.

I agree with the QB battle. It's the single most important decision Harsin will have to make thus far in his AU tenure

If after 3 years marked improvement isn't shown, I will be the first to say a change needs to be made. But to say the program is headed into an abyss and a change needs to be made after 1 year is not only short sighted but ridiculous

Ok, so drive down to Auburn and demand u see improvement this year. I don't know what else to tell ya. And if u don't see improvement, cut a check for Harsin buyout

D Davis skill set seems to give us the best chance , athletic , mobile, good passer from his HS tape I saw. He can overcome OL deficiencies. Harsin quoted as saying he has the "it" factor. Gotta have the QB be the leader that the rest of the troops will follow

I know I'm in the minority. But I want D Davis to win the competition. I find it hard to believe the way he tore up HS football in TX that he shouldn't at least be given a fair shot. He balled out against the best division in TX high school ball. The dude has got to have talent

There's no way all 5 guys get an equal shot in the spring game, or the entire spring for that matter. That's too many to rotate in/ out

I think comparing Bos production to Finleys last year clearly shows who the better QB was. Bo led AU to some good wins. Finleys claim to fame was a drive to save the day against GA St. Disclaimer, I was all for giving Finley at shot when Bo was struggling. After the 3 or 4 game sample size for Finley, there was no question who should have been QB1 last year. So unless drastic improvement is shown, not sure Finley is the man to take the reigns this year

I think we have 5 Scholarship QB on the team right now.. How many u guys think we have after spring ball?

I wonder if Finley starts and lights it up , if Harsin will get any credit for his development 🤔. BTW I'm not expecting either one to occur. We got the same OL coming back, so if Finley is the guy, that ain't a good combo

I dont care if he is popular or not. He gave the middle finger to the PTB. He just needs to win ballgames and that will take care of most of the issues. He wins and he will be more popular than Toomers lemonade for the ones who care bout popularity. Winning cures alot of what ails ya.
