I have no idea. But Vandy suffers because of that. Say he was making 3 mil a year at Vandy. AU pays him 1.5, Vandy pays the other 1.5.. Say he makes 1 mil a yr at Okie St, Vandy then has to pay 2 mil. But either way Mason gets 3 mil a year, so he didn't take a pay cut to leave AU

Mason didn't take a pay cut. He is still under contract at Vandy. Whomever employs him will make up the difference in salary of what he was making at Vandy.

I made no bones about it. I wanted DD to win the job. For several reasons. True dual threat, used to winning, etc.. Sometimes it's just not a good fit with the offense. As far as accuracy, Nick Marshall wasn't very accurate. He made up for that with his legs. I believe DD could have done the same. However, I trust Harsin to make the call. It's obvious to Harsin DD talents wouldn't mesh with his offense.

We don't have an inside game to take away. Kessler has no low post moves. Cardwell has less than zero low post moves. Jabari is a jump shooter.

Another thing to keep in mind about yesterday. We were playing grown men. I saw something where their avg age was 22 or 23. The tourney is a different animal than regular season for several reasons. Miami will give whoever they play trouble until they run into some guards that are bigger and can control pace and pressure.
