Who were the WR in 2008?

My point being... wide receiver and running back are the 2 positions where True Freshman are more likely to make an impact. I stand behind that. The OP was making a point that this was the weakest WR room since 2008. I never said I expected Brown or Kelly to start and have over 1000 yds rec or to save us.They can help bolster the WR room. Just cause Dawson didn't play as freshman doesn't mean another WR cant

I'm banking on a new QB, tweaked scheme and some talented Freshman receivers. I don't think it will be as bad as u think. King has potential to be good. A more accurate QB will make a difference too. WR is a position where True Freshmen can make a difference.

So, you don't think some of the "awfulness" of the wide receivers could be attributed to poor QB play. I seen as many over thrown balls for TD'S as I did drops. Any u kinda made my point when u said no one else has registered a catch... Inexperienced, yes... The worst since 2008? Don't know yet

I saw plenty of criticism thrown at Bo Nix last year. Myself included. Especially after GA St game. One prominent sports writer in the state, Goodman , even called for Bo to be benched in favor of TJ for the rest of the yr. Plenty of posters on this very board criticized Bo. Some on the board defended his every move. TJ or whoever wins the job will face the same scrutiny. Comes with the territory of playing QB in this state.

There is something to be said for QB moxy..Moxy doesn't show up on a stat sheet. Although it's hard to define, I know it when I see it.. Bo would show glimpses, but never consistent. Calzada may have it. Though I wasn't thrilled he was brought in. Unless a QB is ultra talented. Give me one with some moxy and I will won a bunch of games with him

Easily lose 9 games? No way

We were in every game we lost last yr, including 1st half against Georgia.. So the record could have been alot better. We could also have easily lost a couple games we won. 8-4 this year

I agree 💯. However, Harsin needs to change the subject, Whenever Interviewed by ESPN. I'm sure it's difficult the way his family and character was drug thru the mud. But it is time to move forward and when he is asked about it , he needs to have a canned response and say we are looking to the future etc..

I guess the thing to look for is guys in the portal from non SEC Schools. Since THE SEC guys won't be eligible this year. Too many rules on this transfer portal stuff.. Needs to be uniform across the board
