  1. We have the room - hook him and get him committed pronto.
  2. We just need to take a chance on a few, get them in the door and develop the hell out of them and see what happens. Lord knows we have the room this year.
  3. We need numbers and *'s pronto. A solid 4* WR that's adamant about playing and developing in that position is perfect for AU.
  4. Hey, if uga/uat/uf don't want him a WR then we'll dang sure take a 4* in a heartbeat. This sounds like a win-win to me. 😁
  5. Plumlee isn't scared and he has the speed and elusiveness Gus will be salivating over, he should do well in Gus' system. JMHO
  6. I really think coaches will have their starter by this weekend. Then start on Monday giving him all reps with 1st team, put the game plan in place and let him know he's the man and it's his position to lose. Then IF we get up handily on Mercer/SanJoseSt give the #2/#3 QBs some PT late in games. I just feel like QB #1 needs to get a ton of reps with the 1's to get timing down, routes ironed out and get the oline in sync. Of course the coaches may stretch this thing out till PSU game and see where we are then? IDK?
  7. I bumped the thread because it was still residing on Auburn Recruiting and hadn't been moved to Rivals. I simply wondered if Auburn was still hoping for a flip?
  8. Auburn will earn their way into the only poll that matters >> CFP rankings in October.
  9. Does anyone know if Auburn is still pushing hard for Faulk?
  10. If our coaches let them know THEY alone are big time program changers for AU + load them with heavy NIL $$ to reinforce that message and we got 'em.
  11. Auburn likes living on the EDGE . Banking on pulling talented portal players and flipping 4-5* commits from the top recruiting teams in the nation. That's the way to really LIVE!
  12. Wouldn't it be a kick in the sack to ua/uf/osu/uga if Auburn pulled them BOTH? It would make a yuge statement that Auburn can recruit with the best in the nation. Auburn needs pour that NIL on thick and get these two committed NOW. 🤑
  13. That pisses me off that Auburn won't take advantage the ncaa lifting the 25 signee cap for this year. We should be stocking up and replenishing the roster and get while the gettin's good.
  14. I'm happy to know Auburn will have no financial problems paying our millions a year for 2 (TWO) head coaches + Harsin's entire staff to NOT coach at Auburn + paying a new staff upwards of $15million to come on board. 😒
  15. Enough of the "special year" & "magical season" we've been there. Show me a solid program that can compete with any team in the country and win at a consistent level. Hell, back to back 9 win seasons would suit me just fine right now. Back to back 10 win seasons seems like forever since since Auburn accomplished that herculean feat.
  16. Well, unfortunately we've got half a dozen others that haven't produced very much.
  17. I know right? 6'7" 250 lb dude on a moped.
  18. His ability to successfully allude is doubtful to say the least. bad joke - I hope all it was is a helmet infraction
  19. Saban thinks by their standards they were rebuilding last year and ultimately lucked into the CFP again, the 2020 vs 2021 draft proved it: Top 10 picks 2020: 3 players 2021: 1 player 1st Round picks 2020: 6 players 2021: 2 players Top 50 picks 2020: 8 players 2021: 4 players Losing Mac Jones who ended up 2nd place for NFL rookie of the year, Waddle/Smith +1,000 yrs WR's, Najie Harris +1,000 yr rusher, Surtain ranked highly as an NFL rookie corner, Barmore/Dickerson/Leatherwood all NFL starting rookies on the lines. Now whether rebuilding is the proper terminology or not, by their standards they were building back some pretty big holes left from the previous season.
  20. And The Plains NIL Club was scheduled to kick off last Friday which is run by our football players. Kids are geared up and ready to get some 💲💲 in their pocket💲.
  21. It's unfathomable that Auburn hasn't produced a 1,000 yrd receiver this century and literally just broke a 3 yr stretch of not producing a 1,000 yrd rusher until last year. Inexcusable at a place like Auburn.
  22. Our football players were scheduled to launch The Plains NIL Club last Friday. Did they merge with On to Victory NIL and if not, can a football player receive funds from both NIL collectives at the same time?
  23. It will be interesting to see if anything ever crops up with Sarkisian (Texas) & Christabol (Miami) now that we see them shooting up the recruiting rankings + Smart (UGA), Kiffin (OM), Locksley (Maryland), Tucker (MSU), Napier (UF), etc. etc. that coaching tree is widespread.
  24. I bought a bottle of Jefferson's Ocean over the weekend - very tasty over ice on these hot summer nights. 🥃
