I personally felt like Davis was coming in as a rather feckless and ineffective oc in terms of being anything other than a qb coach and saw it as a strange hire. To me the loss / dismissal of Kobe Hudson was when I was really put on notice of things being extremely borderline untenable within the program.

Tubs probably rightfully and quickly came to realize that Franklin was an A*hole who wouldn't be able to have sustained success. all in or not I don't think there was any salvaging of that offense with or without Franklin's guys.

Demmeco Ryan's can get bent as a head coach at auburn Yeah Sean Peyton would be a good hire but it's not even worth speculating on. no offense.

when you're on a 5 game losing skid and have players going live on social media dumping on the coach / primary and ancillary coaches being fired / leaving, than you're going to have to expect an enormous swarm of "hey just what the h*ll is going on here". The only remedy is to win and robby Ashford could be just what doctor Harsin needs otherwise goodbye boss.

especially with that 4th and 1 disaster call -- that said .. I think we gave up a TD to them on a 4th down screen play to their running back but nothing about that game should have lead to a shredding of the d coordinator -- the game before, sure.

Does anyone have any insight? Apparently no. The rest of what you mentioned is entirely possible, plausible but hopefully not probable. I'll wait and see how it plays out.

I wasn't one of those but I'd say it's because it's fairly obvious he is a valuable asset and that can be seen w posts from players likejarquez hunter reflecting his dissapoitment w the news he may be gone.

Honestly losing Derek Mason year one would be a pretty devestating blow particularly if it was a lateral move as a position coach. Guys a major asset recruiting wise and a very personable character in addition to being a solid coach.

Kirby Smart is 1 and 4 vs Saban -- maybe auburn would have been in a better place w him but I think playing in the sec east and losing to Saban 4 of 5 times doesn't really bode well in terms of a "what if he was at Auburn" just my opinion. Also two blowout losses to Ed orgeron.

What if Ricardo didn't drop the touchdown pass in the first half, what if trey Mason just went down on the 1 yard line instead of scoring late in the 4th what if Cody parkey hit the fg what if the refs called holding on fsu for any of the twenty times it was obvious.. Gosh that was such a fun game to be at, just a magical atmosphere that far exceeded the 2010 bcs game I was at and it sucks we didn't win because we beat that team... But somehow didn't.

I'm honestly surprised we are investing any iota of energy in further securing qb's w four already on the roster. Do most teams carry 5? I'm happy for another one and he appears to be a formidable acquisition but my god, immediately deploy all assets and resources towards wr's and and o-line immediately.
