  1. This is the Auburn/NIL article: ALC-Auburn, LLC determined to change NIL game for Auburn A group called ALC-Auburn, LLC, founded by Auburn University graduates and lettermen, is currently working closely with AU athletes and affiliates to launch their NIL platform that protects the athletes, supporters and the institution. 2. When your are recruiting top 4-stars and 5-stars in Notre Dame and Oregon country, it’s pretty hard to land these kids. Not many CFB programs can pull this off, Notre Dame, Stanford, Alabama, and USC maybe. Oregon with Nike support. Unfortunately, Auburn is located between two Death stars now, Alabama and UGA, and Clemson is still around. We have no other choice but recruit nationally. We just need to land a few of these kids every year. We have the coaching staff with West coast ties (that’s why we are in the top 3 of these kids) and the new Football facility could be a factor in the future. Strategically, we need to fix NIL and maybe drop UA and switch to Nike. Get Tim Cook & Apple more involved. Use synergy effects, Basketball & Football, etc. Not sure what else we could do other than winning. Maybe produce another Heisman contender soon.
  3. Another Oregon WR commit on flip-watch: Arkansas might flip AR native 4-star WR Isaiah Sategna: https://247sports.com/player/isaiah-sategna-46100431/
  4. Looks like Bama is out of the picture according to their insiders barring last minute miracle (his IMG roomate J.Bradley is committed to Alabama and probably still trying to convince him…)
  5. Bama is really hurting us here, esp in Basketball recruiting. UGA Basketball is a sleeping giant and they have a working NIL strategy. NC State and Virginia are currently stealing top-tier regional Swim recruits (NC State has a NIL system for Swimmers in place). LSU has access to a Baton Rouge based NIL agency that specializes in Female athletes (this probably helps them in Gymnastics recruiting, they currently have two 5-stars and one 4-star committed) Arkansas: As of Nov. 1, Arkansas Athletics has over 300 brand deal signings that represent all 19 of its athletic teams—compared to schools that have over 30 sports and have yet to reach 300. McGlone says this stat is sure to be an asset when it comes to recruiting. (Source: CGN) Apparently, Auburn is now working on a NIL strategy. I read that AUC/247 will have updates soon and publish an article on Auburn's new NIL strategy later this week.
  6. Announced his Top 5 today. Probably our top target now (2023):
  7. Most people are focused on FB and BB recruiting but the same thing is happening in Gymnastics right now. Alabama and LSU just landed each two 5-stars recently, add Florida which currently has an All-star team, not looking good for Auburn. The problem is, these top recruits are all connected and recruit each other. You can’t afford not signing a 5-star because you will be less likely to sign other top recruits in the future, this applies to all sports. We only landed 5-star & Sr. Team USA member Olivia Greaves (who will sign with Auburn next week) because Suni actively recruited her to Auburn. I am sure Kessler considered Auburn because we already had a blue-chip signed (Jabari).
  8. Nick Smith to Arkansas and JWalk probably to Houston. Looks like Cruz could end up in Memphis…
  9. Not looking good. Could be a tough week: Clemons potentially committing soon, JWalker now predicted to Houston and D.Bowen will probably commit to ND.
  10. JWalker now CBd to Houston by three 247 Recruiting Analysts
  11. + they will probably land another 4-star commit later today (Clowney)
  12. Unfortunately he didn't come for the Ole Miss game - would have been a much better experience. Night game at JHS with the light show and a great win over a highly ranked opponent + Basketball scrimmage in Auburn Arena on Friday night. However, on the other hand he met Charles Barkley and Cam Newton during his OV and the weather was much better...
  13. Don't get your hopes up. I read that he removed his Auburn OV pictures on IG a few days ago + Houston was his final OV. I think he might like Houston (still better than Bama).
  14. So that’s Bowen and JWalk committing on the same day? Not sure I can handle that 😆
  15. Technically, Bo has two more years of eligibility left. So it makes sense to think about what to expect from him in the future. I think Bo compares to Jake Locker when he played at Washington. Both were similarly ranked HS QBs, Bo a 5-star QB and Jake a top 4-star QB. Jake was also highly talented but rough, relied a lot on his mobility and had a low completion rate (47%) in his R-Freshman year. He was PAC-12 Freshman of the year (Bo SEC Freshman of the year). However, Jake really emerged during his Junior year and had a great Senior year. I think Bo is probably a little bit behind Jake in his development (when comparing both during their Jr years; Bo behind due to Covid and poor coaching in the past). Jake Locker’s highlight video against top competition during his Junior year. Maybe Bo can reach this level next year! I think he is getting close. Remember, Locker was a high 1st round NFL pick.
  16. No major update but Houston fans reporting, Jarace had a good time (of course), attended the Houston FB game - they defeated SMU in a thriller (last minute kickoff return TD) with their fans storming the field) and the Basketball team got its Final 4 rings at halftime. I am sure, this was all scripted 😜 Btw, Houston Basketball recruits get to stay in very nice luxury hotels in the city.
  17. 4-star forward Chance Westry commits to Auburn https://www.theplainsman.com/article/2021/10/4-star-forward-chance-westry-commits-to-auburn Auburn basketball is already making waves for next season as it landed the commitment of 4-star small forward Chance Westry on Sunday. He announced the decision live on his local news. Westry, a Pennsylvania native and member of the 2022 class, chose the Tigers over LSU, Nebraska, Arizona State, a reported million-dollar offer from Australia's National Basketball League and a six-figure deal from Overtime Elite. For once, Auburn won the battle against the million-dollar offers that have swayed other top Auburn target in the past. A possible derivative of the new NIL laws in college sports. Westry averaged 23.8 points per game in his sophomore year at Trinity High School. He made the move to Hillcrest Prep in Phoenix for his senior season where he will commence play tomorrow night for the first game of the season.
  18. It's Auburn!!! (I was getting nervous with LSU and Syracuse hats lying around). Since he is originally from PA, could this help landing Jarace Walker (another PA native)? Not sure if they know each other.
