  1. He retweeted "Gymnastics to F4" two hrs ago...
  2. Someone posted this on reddit: Elite 8: Oklahoma with 198.1125 Florida with 197.975 Auburn with 197.8375 Utah with 197.7125 Missouri with 197.200 Minnesota with 197.1125 Alabama with 197.100 Michigan with 196.2875 Individual titles: All Around: Trinity Thomas Uneven Bars: Trinity Thomas (Florida) Balance Beam: Sunisa Lee (Auburn) Floor Exercise: Trinity Thomas (florida) Vault: Jaedyn Rucker (Utah) Four on the floor starting rotation will be: Florida: Vault Auburn: Bars Utah: Beam Oklahoma: Floor
  3. Overall pretty solid performance and it is alway great to get beam out of the way early!
  4. WSJ story on NCAA gymnastics. Great PR for Auburn Gymnastics!
  5. “We're meeting after this year," Graba said Wednesday when asked if he has received any indication of Lee's plan. "We've all decided to try to get through college, the NCAA season, and then we do have to have a plan for what's coming up. I know ushe wants to come back. I know she wants to go back to (the International Gymnastics Federation). But I also know that she's still got a lot on her plate and needs to balance it. So we're going to be here." Update: Suni just tweeted :
  6. That would be highly unlikely (barring injuries or an off-year). The 2024 team could be the least competitive team in a long time. Simone Biles might return as a specialist but I don't see that happening. - Suni would be the star gymnast of this team - Konnor McClain (basically the next Suni) Then some other gymnasts but they aren't really top challengers at this time: - Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, Leanne Wong, Shilese Jones, Ashlee Sullivan, Kayla DiCello, Zoe Miller, Emjae Frazier, Olivia Greaves, Charlotte Booth and a few other elites could be fighting for the other spots...
  7. Suni mentioned in an interview that she most likely won’t come back to AU after the 2024 Olympics… she is not planning to graduate and currently just maintaining eligibility by taking online classes.
  8. Collier is mostly interested in USC, UCLA, FSU, Auburn and possibly some other schools (247 info).
  9. This! I am not worried about defensive recruiting at all. However, offensive recruiting is a major issue...
  10. Auburn, Memphis, Georgetown possibilities according to 247/Vols writer:
  11. Which makes sense, it would have been a missed opportunity. Earlier this week, some of the writers were trying to spin it as a positive, explaining that it would be more beneficial to host a smaller group of visitors. Now, they are all excited that we are planning to host a bigger group… lol
  12. They should be more experienced. Transition game should be improved with Traore (Kessler and Jabari are both too static). I think Westry will make a huge impact for us. We still need more weapons though… SEC will be tougher next season…
  13. Jade Carey and possibly Jordan Chiles and Leanne Wong leaving NCAA and returning to elite. Seems like a new trend. Looks like they are starting early to train for the Olympics. Let’s hope Suni stays with us for another year…
  14. Good read: “Even without the NIL, I knew I wanted to go to college anyway just because I had to come find my love for the sport again,” Lee said. “I had to get out of the elite world just because it is so different. This is so much more fun, and having the team be so supportive.” Lee has a leotard line with GK Elite and a clothing line with Pretty Little Thing., which she tracks while living in a dormitory like other Auburn freshmen with roommate/teammate Sara Hubbard. She has splurged on a car and her first designer bag but mostly fears spending too much now and not having enough later. “I’m so scared to actually use my money,” Lee said. “I’m so cautious with it because I have to be.” Lee has also dealt with the sudden fame that comes with being an Olympic champion. She can’t just pop into the grocery store or have a quiet dinner out. She even stopped going to Auburn basketball games. It’s all a part of the new normal for a teenager who isn’t yet fully accustomed to the spotlight but is eager not to ever come off as standoffish ”It’s really hard, because even grabbing food, people come up to her and are just like, ‘Hold my baby. Take my picture. Sign my shoes,’” Hubbard said of her roommate. “I think it’s just overwhelming. It’s kind of scary when a bunch of random people are just all in your business.”
  15. I think she is doing the Lopez vault now...
  16. Looks like they are managing it but it explains why they had to adjust her vault.
  17. Suni has the twisties:
  18. Yes, technically she is eligible for another year.
