I said this in the Calzada thread but I’ll say it here too. If Calzada wants to be at Auburn then so be it, especially since we may need more depth. However I hope Harsin brings someone else in to compete with him and then let the best man win. If Calzada wins then so be it. This is definitely not a flashy get but it is what it is.

If he wants to be at Auburn then come to Auburn. Harsin has to bring in another QB to compete and let the best man win though. There were and are better options out there.

Hopefully we can get Thompson on campus for a visit. Can’t imagine him going to OU with Gabriel there. Other options are Nebraska, Indiana, and Missouri.

Can we make one big thread for the Gus vs. Harsin argument and one big thread for complaints against Harsin and ban anyone from talking about these two subjects in any other thread? The same 10 or so people are going to continue to rag Harsin until he wins a natty or is fired. That doesn’t mean they have to clutter every post until then. If people want to argue with them they can visit those threads and have at it.

Agree with this. I love his pull up game but needs to grown man these guy like Okoro use to. He will need that to succeed in the NBA and we will need that to succeed in this conference.

I’m going to be honest, ESD still has me restless. I’m ready to see some more movement on nabbing up some transfer portal guys. They won’t last long. Doesn’t spring semester start like now or next week? I would imagine a lot of guys would like to get where they are going by then or by summer.

I got Zero hope that we get Caleb Williams because….. JABA. However, if CALZADA stops us from getting Caleb Williams dudeeeeee. In all seriousness, and just to add to this argument, Calzada is awful and so is TJ Finley. The better of the two is still awful so what’s the argument? Outside of Williams there are a ton of QBs in the portal much, much better than Calzada and Finley alike. If DD leaves then I can understand adding him for depth however that is all he should be, depth. Williams is better, Ward is better, the Marshall QB is better, Bazelak is better. Hell my grandma is better and she’s had two knee replacements. NOT FINLEY AND NOT CALZADA. Go find someone else PLEASE.

If Dillion is going to OU then Caleb Williams is as good as gone from OU. Timing is waaaaaaay too perfect.

If they view it like I view it I think they see that for the first time in 8 years+ Auburn could possibly be turning the table and transforming into a legitimate football program capable of developing them into NFL caliber players. HS kids want to go to the NFL. AU players haven’t been doing that in recent years. That recruits against us worse than anything. Love the NFL guys coming onto the coaching staff to help with this.

Just to bump this….. doesn’t his contract expire next year? They better give this man the holy mother of extensions. The BB program deserves as much love as the FB program, even more so in recent years. Give this man what he wants and what he needs for our continued success.

I’d be sad if it didn’t happen of course but I’m happy to hear Auburn is throwing the books at him. Looks like they are ready to play ball.
