IF this is true, good on Harsin. Good luck to Bo, yadda yadda, but Harsin has his plan, his vision, his....dare i say.....process?!? thats why he was hired. he may fall flat on his face (i doubt it) but you gotta let the HC do what he does.

For me, Tank. He is our best player on offense by far. Jarquez is a better #2 than Finley for their respective positions, but we need to keep the RB room stacked, especially if Damari needs time.

I want to keep Bo, but I think Harsin and the new OC could pretty easily lure a good portal QB here that fits their system. Heck, they may want their own QB anyways since Harsin's cleaning house. Not sure if any stud RB's would want to come compete with Hunter, Alston, and co

I honestly think hunter might be better than tank.

If they are good salesmen, they shouldn't have a problem. "The business we are in is sales." Coach Tubberville.

i agree. everyone who is interesting in college football just watch that iron bowl and there were a ton of recruits there. seems like that would do more to "sell" for these new coaches than anything else. they have to learn sometime.

Honestly, Gus in his tenure as OC and his first couple seasons as HC was the last time we had an OC that gave other coaches fits.  If we could have paired Auburn's 2017 to 2019 defense with that 2013 offense, we would have won every game by 30.

that was the problem though. we did nothing that even remotely looked like the 2013 team after marshall graduated. from my untrained eyes it looked as though gus tried to do anything different than replicate that success. it was bizarre.

  5. The better question is why Finley didn’t have more short/quick pass plays or, if he did, why he wasn’t pulling the trigger faster.

all day he seemed to not trust the reads or just held on to the ball too long. Also seemed to be looking for the deep pass and not the short stuff.

Performance on Saturdays should maybe matter a teensy bit too. I mean, seriously, how much worse could our WRs realistically do than what they're doing right now?

I mean, they could drop ALL balls and then maybe not block as well, but again, might as well try to build some depth.

Strongly disagree. Gus left talent. SEC in 07 is NOT the SEC today.

You don’t go from 7-6 with a loss to ulm to almost beating the future national champ in the seccg in one season without talent and it wasn’t all true freshman from the first recruiting class.

I’m not saying gus didn’t leave talent. Just that he left less talent.
