We have a cat that is a killer. Pretty frustrating when you're taking the dog out late in the evening, kick something and then look down to find out it's a head, liver or something else recently extricated from a squirrel, chipmunk or mole.

So just relaxing on my front porch earlier tonight when a tiny dog I do not recognize is about to get into a world of hurt with my neighbor's dog. Race down there and snatch him up. Take him indoors. He's friendly with the wife and baby and the other three girls pamper him like crazy. Very apparent from the scent he is is ordinarily an outside dog, however. Has a collar with an address and phone number for a house at the end of my street, some individuals I've never spoken to, on it. Pick him up and walk him down there. Not home. Call them. Escaped his fence. They're an hour away at an Easter party. Well, hell. Tell them to text me when close and I'd bring him back down. This was 6 hours ago lol. So I've been dogsitting this little guy for a while now. He's somewhat imprinted on my oldest and whimpered for a while when I chased her upstair for bed. Seen fit to spoil him rotten before he goes back to being a yard dog though. Looks and smells like he could use a little TLC. Had I known it would be this long, I would have bathed his stinky behind. Cats love him too.

I still have nightmares of him clowning us. He averaged like 10YPC against us in those games. Hope Worm brings the pain like that.

My two oldest are dancers. In their ballet, tap and jazz class last year, this song was part of the arrangement at their recital. They still have the outfits, which they only wore once and cost a ton lol, but such is dance.

Sure was pretty when I woke up this morning. Had a good thaw, but it's snowing hard again now. Makes for a comfy half mile walk to and from class.

Got dang I learned to hate those things with the quickness. Bug spray didn't help.

Going to be a slippery walk to class tomorrow, but I love coming up to Wisconsin for training.

Finally went through the SLR. Couldn't pull it out much because if the rain, but I got this gem. "Sadie! Crane kick!" *Insert kickass impersonation of Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star*

She's still pretty proud. Wore this to school today.

There were tears initially. Once the shock of the beating wore off they carried themselves a bit better. Sadie didn't have a great game in goal, but only one got by her off of a corner. Once they put that one in, we panicked and starting trying to boom ball it to our forwards. They pulled her from goal in the second half and put her at left wing to try and get a spark, but that meant putting our starting left back in goal. They routed her backup, scoring three in the second, nearly all attacks down the left side.

Let's just say the final didn't go well. They were faster and could shoot with impunity from anywhere in our half, but she got a medal so she's not too broke up about it.

5-0 in the semifinal. Final in 2 hours.

Sadie chilling between the sticks this afternoon. Not a lot to do when you open your season with 5-0 and 4-0 wins in a tournament. Won the group. Knockout rounds begin tomorrow.

Hey, having mastered rolling my own may be a useful skill in the future. *ahem*

My little bro used to buy Bugler.

My house has an attic fan I'm seriously considering repairing. Hasn't worked since we moved in. Could help in the girls' rooms in the summer. Just haven't gotten around to it.

My dad tells me stories of it being too hot to go in and chilling on the front porch until it got cool enough for bed. Skeeters would suck though.

Don't even really have to worry about that. They don't go outside at all. Think of it like owning hamsters or gerbils that are a lot smarter, friendlier and more playful. Cheap and easy to care for and know how to use a litter box. Just have to change water daily, bedding and litter every week and bleach the cage once a month.

Nah they’re great little pets. Mostly just like to hang out in sleeves.
