If Bama wins this game, I just don't see 2 SEC teams in the playoffs. I could be wrong, though.
Only if both Michigan and FSU lose. The west has never won the B1G (not counting Wisconsin in the Leaders/Legends era) and I sincerely doubt it starts now.

They struggled against florida, just not sure the backup qb can do it...but ugh, I guess we will see...just such a love fest for Bama...so ready for them to be non relevant again...it's just a matter of time, at some point Saban will have to step down...can't wait for that to happen...
I know he lost when it counts but we'll have to see if Oregon can hold on to DL when eh does.

Still makes me sick that we should have gone after Kirby harder than we did...seems to have it rolling at uga, sigh.
Even if he had bolted after year 3 he would've left a lot of talent since the TP wasn't really a thing.

Hate to admit it but seeing Verne hand the mic over to Brad gave me chills.

Texas doing their part. Washington did their part. Need Michigan and FSU to win to almost guarantee a no Bama playoff no matter what!
Michigan will kill Iowa, very unsure about FSU.

BTW, I hope Texas doesn't take their foot off of the gas. And I doubt they will. They need to impress the voters, and make sure they make it into the playoffs.
That and avenging the dead longhorn.

This game is why getting rid of divisions was a good idea.

TBF, Washington got a couple of very beneficial calls at the start.
This could get reaaallllllly interesting.

But really. Is this the best pick up in Auburn history? I get that we’ve literally signed the top player before. But this class is loaded with talent, so even though he’s listed at around 7th, talent is just better in this class than some of the others recently. And considering how erm… not great… the receiver room is, he can really help flip the script.
I would still say Cam Newton by default.

I'm extremely happy to take a ribbing here!

Combine with all the transfer QBs who supposedly aren't coming here, and the optimism I expressed the last few days might wane. Considering how much we've been told that a great finish was coming, going to be very PO'd...gonna feel like we're caught in a two year time loop. Are we out of NIL $? Can't wait til Gus's contract period is over.

So you think cam is just going to go wherever D Craig goes? What if he doesn’t get a job before signing day? What then?
I think it definitely helps the chances of whoever gets him.

Why don't we maximize the chances of that happening?
I don't always agree with Jake Crain (especially on non-sports matters) but he nails it here:
I hope we can find a landing spot for Monty of course.

Oh you know they will try to spin it.
“Coleman had behavior issues and we are better off”
That above line sound familiar? It should because we had people advocating for not taking Keon Coleman who btw had 0 drops this season. Zero!
The guy who might win the Heisman this year was also an entitled spoiled brat locker room cancer, lol.

So we as a fan base are mad at a guy for negatively recruiting against his competition?
Not one person has given a legitimate reason why he shouldn’t be allowed to be on an Auburn staff. Not one.
The same folks who whine and b*tch about Gus are mad that Dameyune whined and b*tched about Gus.
Please, someone in the know, enlighten us on what he did that was so bad.
Yeah, I doubt it's unique to us of course but we can be kind of petty sometimes. Especially when burying the hatchet, in this case, could land us a game-changing commitment. If FSU (speaking of hatchets) hires CDC and Coleman follows him, will anyone still be glad we chose that hill to die on?

Doesn't sound like any of the ones who have entered yet are coming here?
