  1. not in your post history. It must really suck to live in your negative world. I feel pity for your kids.
  2. have you ever posted something positive about Auburn? Your post history does not show much.
  3. I was shocked. That stat sounds SO bad, but haven't they only won, like, 8 games in Auburn?
  4. We grew up a lot.. Somewhere between the end of the first quarter and the end of the game we made major strides. Growing up means 2 things to me. 1 The team as a whole became tougher, more resilient, and more aggressive. 2. Individual players "had the light come on". All season, including the first quarter last night, most of our team seemed to be "thinking" about what they should do and how they should do it as the plays unfolded. This caused us to be a step behind on a lot of plays. Somewhere in the second quarter a few players started to trust their training, and started to react without having to think about what they should be doing. As the game went on , more and more players started to react by instinct to what they were supposed to do without being sandbagged by having to think about how they should react.. We still have a way to go, but we did A LOT of growing up last night.
  5. just 4 or 5? Tank had at least 2 , Hudson had 1-2, Shenker dropped 3. I am sure there are others.
  6. I do like that we could keep this quiet until 50 minutes before the game.
  7. Not sure. I THINK I remember him having some nagging injury... but T.D. I don't remember him getting hurt.
  8. It would hurt, but not as much as other positions. I would have full confidence in Hunter, Shivers, and even Sean Jackson. I'd be more worried about losing OL or DB's.
  9. turn overs. We need a couple INTs or fumble recoveries, and we need to protect the rock! NO MORE bread loaf carries or daylight between the ball and body.
  10. This is all I am asking of the team this year. Fight f'n hard for 60 minutes. Improve every game, Wins and losses will sort themselves out.
  11. Hahahaha. his face when he says, "show you a move?!?!??"
  12. I think I remember someone posted that Newton was not supposed to be in, and noticed we needed someone quickly, so he run out there. No Idea if it is true or not tho.
  13. I can't answer the question, but it made me suspect this may be part of the reason for the firing?
  14. I didn't see the Cowboys play. I have not noticed it as much on D. When did the Defense have issues lining up correctly? Has this gotten better in the last few games? Obviously in real life no one is perfect. There will be SOME mistakes, (and may be a lot in one game every now and then ) but when the simple things like not lining up correctly or not even being on the filed are so prevalent, and the coach doesn't make any improvement, something is wrong. We are 1/3 way through the season, and we still have issues lining up or being focused enough to realize you should be on the field.
  15. I am not trying to say everyone else is doing well, But there is a difference between... A: asking a QB,OL TE etc. coach to fix their players lack of picking up slants and blitzes and dozens of techniques used against them. and B: Asking your WR coach to get his guys lined up right or out on the field when their number is called. A: takes a tremendous amount of time to learn ,perfect, and be able to do without having to think. B: well, any JR high school player can learn that in a week. If the head coach comes over and tells you to fix A, and it takes more than 1 week, it is understandable. If the head coach comes over and tells you to fix B and it takes more than 1 week, there is really no excuse. If you aren't coaching the most simple basic things right, you are hurting the team.
  16. Ark has one of the best and one of the best. Yet they still only won 3 games last year, lost to bama by 7+ td's and other teams by 27+. First year head coaches struggle in the SEC. we are not entitled to anything different.
  17. and they still lost to bama by 7+ touchdowns and other games by 27 or more points last year.
  18. Yes, as the season goes on they got better, but they also lost 3 games by 4 TDs or more. And they lost to bama by more than 7 TD's. They let him stay with relatively less complaining than we have had already. . Would Auburn let anyone stay after losing to bama by more than 7 TDs? this year Arkansas has a small shot at beating bama, because they gave their coach time when it didn't look so good. Next year they will be even better. So will we.
  19. Don't put words in my mouth because you know 9 wins is a delusional expectation for a new coach in the SEC. esp now, when the SEC is the strongest top to bottom it has been, maybe ever. Harsin told the players he doesn't know how many we will win or lose, but if we practice right we will be in position to win any of them.
  20. Just replying to your post, you know, the part where you said expectations should be 8-10 wins. 8-10 wins should be a goal, or may be just a "hope", NOT an expectation at this year. Expectations should be realistic. The point is that it will take time. example above.
