Meh, we are limping to the finish line and wrapping up a tough year. Is what it is. If we somehow miraculously beat the Updykes and won whichever weed eater bowl we get sent to, you’d see a different dynamic heading in to spring. Momentum, or lack thereof, is a crazy thing.  

That’s a really long extension regardless of success IMO. As for that success I mean he’s had some really good years and some average years. To me this speaks more of the “we can’t get anyone better so let’s lock him up” thought more than anything. Nothing wrong with that if you think that is the case.

And our average quality rating per recruit is 7th in the SEC. BC and Rutgers and lot of other schools are ahead of us because they have almost twice the amount of commitments. Our rankings will look much better after signing day. Theirs will not. 

Being 7th in the SEC in rating per recruit will get a guy fired from Auburn pretty quick. Hope that improves. 

Pretty sure @augolf1716 doesn’t mind seeing GT take a loss in anything. Y’all ever hear his feelings on them? Priceless   

This just does not seem like a good fit at this point. From recruiting and staff choices to second half failures and even his handling of the covid situation, it just seems like it’s always something. I was willing to go with “the fish out of water but at least he’s not a AU good ole boy” thing but I do think we could have made a better choice. Money will dictate he comes back next year and maybe he’ll get it dialed in but I’ve got serious doubts and am starting to think we are just gonna waste a couple years before he’s fired anyways.
