For sure, dude is highly respected. Couldn’t get enough big dogs over there though. He’ll definitely land on his feet.

Well yeah, tons of guys would be better if they were 3-4” taller. Point is he isn’t and all our guards are short which makes us limited in what we can do now that teams have adjusted. Flan getting hurt and essentially being a non-factor now has been a killer too. We’ll need them all to be better shooters than they really are for us to win it all IMO. Maybe we will get hot as a unit and roll.

I don’t think it has anything to do with Jabari becoming “the guy” or anything like that nor jealousy on the part of the guards. I think it’s a combination of teams adjusting to defend our strengths and us not being able to capitalize on what they are now giving us. For me it’s as simple as we don’t have great guard play period and when they are off it’s bad. Our guards with their lack of size and style of play are subject to really being limited in what we can do it they are missing wide open shots. We’ve got to make the shots that will open our strengths back up. I think we are a point guard away from being truly dynamite and that is unfortunate.

He definitely plays out of control a lot and can be frustrating to watch. Even so, no one could have predicted a 0-14 yesterday is all I was saying.

There’s only 2 rounds in the NBA draft (and have been for over 30 years), but regardless, he’s projected as a mid 1st rounder with a chance to move up to the back end as a lottery pick depending on what teams do. As far as “Center moves” he’s patterned exactly how would be expected in today’s league and no one is gonna make him learn a hook shot lol. Sure he can and will improve but so can everyone.

It seems so weird to me that you have to “reward” a guy for giving 100% effort and let him shoot any ymca street ball shot anytime he wants. Maybe need to recruit different players I dunno. Odd world we live in these days.
