I thought it was a killer response myself. I mean, there were stories out there that could have ended this man’s marriage- I think he’s taken a thoughtful and measured approach while letting everyone read between the lines on how he feels. I’ve not been a huge fan of his tenure up to this point but I’ve got to give him a heck of a lot of credit for his approach. I’m pulling for him 100% I’ll tell you that.

Lewis, he was listed on the roster in the link of the op. Not on the updated roster obviously though.

He made good points on the bowl situation and about our baseball facilities needing upgrades. Every once in a while he can still have a solid take lol.

You just proved his point. Saban had little to no recruiting experience in the South and won a Natty at LSU.

I mean it wouldn’t surprise me he’s the most improved because quite frankly he has a lot of room for improvement, it’s a double edged sword the whole most improved bit. Let’s just say I bet Jabari has never held that title and for a reason. I think he’s a great role player and I certainly can see an expanded role, but I’d have to really be pumping sunshine and looking through some seriously strong O & B glasses before I start talking about the NBA and his chances. The sheer talent level that has to go overseas every year to play because they can’t make the league is astonishing.

They are long shots for sure but it would have been nice anyways. Not really quite a BCW if the biggest cats don’t come.

These guys have an excellent show, really enjoy it.

That offense was so dynamic. Gus had it perfectly dialed up, Cam ran it to perfection, enough playmakers to be dangerous, and solid solid OL play.

So Frankie getting to coach his kid brother is pretty cool. I’ll watch…again…but if they look awful and get blown out I’m gonna change the channel lol.

Man that was great. Hopefully we will have at least competent OL play and give him or TJ a chance back there.

Great season but wish we gave a better account of ourselves at the big boy table. As said earlier, we’ve made obvious strides but need a little juice to get to the next elite level. Here’s hoping Butch gets what he needs to keep this thing going and go just a little bit more. Helluva job by Butch and the whole staff, exceptionally memorable year.

Well I missed most of it but did get to catch the last couple innings. Fantastic bounce back win and nice to get another CWS win and break the streak. Looked like a completely different team today. Very proud of the guys.

I don’t think anyone is suggesting it’s easy, just making obvious takes on what the problem may be and lack of adjustment. I think it’s fair to say we are in a bit of a slump and these comments are what happens on a fan message board. It’s literally the reason everyone comes to this site. WDE.

Plus if there is pressure it’s on all teams. It’s the frickin CWS for goodness sake. We played a crap game and we just aren’t a threat at the plate right now- and the offensive slide didn’t show up in Omaha, been a couple games now.

Awful performance tonight all around, didn’t look like we belong on the big stage and that’s unfortunate considering the season the guys have had. There are a lot of folks that doubted we’d be much of a factor here and I hate they will all be writing about it tomorrow. We need to beat Stanford and at least gain a little respect back.

That’s embarrassing and unacceptable at this point.

Too many of our boys are total non-factors at the plate right now. Not really even competitive at this point and we’ve been sliding the past couple games. This isn’t a one game thing anymore and it couldn’t have come at a worst time.

Very anticlimactic ending there. Hope that wasn’t our only shot. I would have loved to have gotten at least one more there.
