Well it’s understood that letting a coach go midseason is messy and no one expects an assistant coach to come in and really produce any results at all. If we are to that point then the season is shot already. The purpose of firing the HC is to get a start on next season and try to salvage this disaster of a recruiting mess we are in. If the decision is made to fire Harsin midseason then it’s the bigger picture being looked at, not the W’s and L’s of this year.
Bigger question is what happens when Kirby curb stomps us into oblivion wrecking the rest of the season along the way. We should win this week and probably WKU but that may be it. I’d be shocked if we made even the Weedeater Bowl this year.
Has anyone told Harsin? He generally doesn’t keep up with this, especially since Calzada was “competing” as recently as Monday. His “you know something I don’t know” comment Monday is precious. What a guy.
I mean, what he retweeted is a statistical fact. He didn’t make it up or anything- you just, as said above, have to read the room. That lapse of judgement has made it worse for him than he had it before. Very counterproductive.
