Awesome presser. Basically hit on most everything and seemed genuine to me on each topic. Regardless of what anyone thinks of the hiring, it’s done and the train has left the station. That debate is over so let’s get behind this staff and team and fix this thing.

So he’s never run a high level organization at any level, doesn’t call plays, coaches QB’s to run someone else’s scheme, and has the left over Mullen scent to boot. Im not ruling this guy out but logic dictates to me that I find it highly unlikely Cohen is gonna stake his AU career on hiring this guy. That’s super risky and we literally just saw what happens to an AD that makes the wrong call. To many unknowns for me.

I’m not sure we really played any better quite frankly. We had the run at the end combined with their uncharacteristic misses free throws. D was pretty good but we are really struggling on O.

It’s super frustrating obviously, for all of us. My only solace is that- ill informed fan message board hysterics aside- our new University leadership has played this close to the vest and still have a chance to deliver the product we all want. We simply don’t know what’s going on and that has us all fearing the worst.
