  1. Well he certainly told his version of the story lol. Not sure I would have put that out there like that regardless.
  2. Horrible this year or horrible one quarter??
  3. Yes, I would absolutely love for you to explain to us all how him hiring his daughter as his admin asst has anything to do with his history. We are all waiting for this doozy I’m sure.
  4. And his history pertains to his admin assistant how?
  5. Why would anybody care who Freeze’s assistant is??? That literally blows my mind.
  6. Still odd for me that a Senior “declares” for the draft. I know about covid year thing, still odd to hear it from a Senior lol.
  7. He may have I dunno. I saw he had 2 tackles on the year. My point though really is that I had higher expectations for him and I hate it didn’t work out. He was just a non-factor all in all unfortunately.
  8. I hadn’t thought about him in a while. Forgot he was on the team actually.
  9. Check his quote out again. Where did he say nationally renowned coaches? That’s your words.
  10. As it should be. We are hiring the dude strongly based around his offense and QB track record. Some folks just go bonkers over “name” guys without thought on why we hired Freeze to begin with.
  11. We’ve always said let the HC choose his own staff soooooo, let’s let the HC choose his staff lol. He’s on a time crunch so it’s only natural to go with his comfort zone and hire folks he knows and has worked with. Does anyone really expect him to fill out the staff with a bunch of dudes he doesn’t know?
  12. Not according to the post above yours.
  13. Considering the program in general the past few years and what we’ve gone through, luring a guy out of retirement to go to work again isn’t even in the league of what I’d classify as a huge disappointment.
  14. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/35176614/colorado-buffaloes-name-deion-sanders-head-coach?platform= The announcement came minutes after Sanders led Jackson State to its second straight SWAC title. Sanders, 55, has gone 27-5 at Jackson State in three seasons. Jackson State defeated Southern 43-24 in the title game, capping the school's first undefeated season. "There were a number of highly qualified and impressive candidates interested in becoming the next head football coach at Colorado, but none of them had the pedigree, the knowledge and the ability to connect with student-athletes like Deion Sanders," Colorado athletic director Rick George said in the statement. "Not only will Coach Prime energize our fanbase, I'm confident that he will lead our program back to national prominence while leading a team of high quality and high character." Colorado fired Karl Dorrell in October after an 0-5 start and an 8-15 record overall in three years as coach. Mike Sanford filled in as interim coach and went 1-6 to close the year. Sanders is an iconic American athlete and a member of both the Pro Football and College Football Halls of Fame. He played in the NFL for 14 seasons, won two Super Bowls and also played for several Major League Baseball teams from 1989 through 2001. Deion officially named HC at Colorado. Time to see who’s right and who’s wrong lol.
  15. Sounds like characters from Boogie Nights.
  16. I didn’t think it was overly bad either. Pretty fair questions. They aren’t gonna just pretend it’s not a big deal him coming back to big time ball after what transpired. It’s all good, Hugh accomplished what needed to be done.
  17. Loved what he said about recruiting. Flat lines and said you can play here and the roster needs to be revamped.
  18. Ha, his whole verbal beatdown to everybody after he smoked Little Bill at the end is epic. “Shoot your dog too” lol. Great choice.
  19. We get some studs in here and he might not have a spot even if he wants to. This goes both ways.
  20. Love this hire. He clearly is a big cog in the Freeze offense and I’m glad he’s on board.
  21. I can’t imagine any reasonable AU person would expect a playoff spot next year. That’s pushing it a little even for a crazy fanbase like us lol.
  22. AU grad with tons of AU family/friends and I literally can’t think of once anyone would use that term. I think most just recall it as a gimmicky deal Tubbs tried to make popular that fell flat.
  23. OP was long so I didn’t read it all but I agree completely lol.
