They have 1 more offensive and 1 more defensive board at the moment than we do. We hanging ok for now. They are a much better rebounding team overall though for sure.

Absolutely, don’t think there’s any question about it. With where we were picked preseason to finish in the league, a first round tournament win with a second round loss sounds about right. Obviously a second round win over a #1 would exceed expectations, at least for me.

If?? Well considering how many times in the history of the program we’ve played in the S16 and E8, yeah I’m going to say each and everyone is gonna say the season was a success. Only a moron would say otherwise.

Lot of chatter about how we actually measure up better with Houston than Iowa. We’ll see I guess.

I think there’s a lot of frustration in general over not addressing the guard situation from last year, not just Sears specifically, although he would have been an option yes. We have 3 slots being taken up by Wendell, Zep, and KD and that issue was our downfall last year even with two first round draft picks on the team. One competent guard and we may very well be sitting here with a Natty right now. Everyone knew that but all we did was essentially swap Jabari/Kess for Broome/Traore and didn’t address the glaring weakness with our 3 small, turnover prone guards- one of which has literally zero offensive output to contribute and the other two are amazingly inconsistent night to night. It’s more than just taking Westry over Sears imo.

Im not aware of anyone questioning the difference/ gap between where we are now compared to how it was with Lebo/Barbee. Who are you making this point to? We all agree with that fact I would have to imagine. That’s why I said it has no relevance to today.
