  1. i say a pick pregame today of gus on espn and he looks like he has aged twenty years since he left. i was ready for a change but i liked gus. i still laugh when i think about gus saying "we beat the dog crap out of them" after the ga game. i cannot stand ga fans so i loved it and still do. i am glad things are ok now.
  2. from what i gathered on reddit worm did not play because he was in the doghouse and it was said harsin brought it up without mentioning names. take it with a grain. it certainly does not sound like worm and i am a huge fan.i did an edit to add this..... Harsin had a very specific quote after the game which I believe slightly targeted Shivers’ “not focused” comments earlier in the week: “Sometimes when you have something become such a focus, you have to step back and put things in perspective. "Do your job. That was the message this week." I think shivers not being focused or his comments at least led to his time on the pine. level 2 Ok-Recognition7077 · just now i am certainly not saying you are lying or anything of that nature but that sounds nothing like worm. i am on aufamily which is a great auburn site and worms mom posts fairly regularly there. this just shocks me because he is a yes sir no sir kind of guy and his mom raised him right. maybe more will come out and we will find out more down the road but if i was a betting man i would not bet anything that worm has a bad attitude. anyway come visit us guys and tell aubiefifty {me} hello. give me some love for recruiting for the fam mods. 1
  3. yes! brian said that was the hardest hit he ever took.
  4. Instant Analysis: Auburn defeats Arkansas 38-23 on the road. By Nubyjas Wilborn | nwilborn@al.com 3 minutes Auburn remains in contention for the SEC West division title with Saturday’s 38-23 win against Arkansas. The Tigers are 5-3 and 2-1 in the SEC heading into a bye week. Ole Miss comes to Jordan-Hare on October 30 for another Western division game. Bo Nix had a season-high 292 yards on 21-26 passing and threw for two touchdowns in front of over 75,000 rowdy fans in Fayetteville. Nix led the Tigers down the field for a touchdown on the game’s first offensive possession for either team. Ja’Varrius Johnson caught a 39-yard pass from Nix, giving the Tigers a 7-0 lead. Nix put the game away with a 23-yard run for a touchdown putting the Tigers ahead 38-23 with a little over two minutes left in the contest. Auburn upset the Razorbacks with a 15 point victory. However, the win wasn’t as easy as the final score reveals. Here are some observations of Auburn’s sixth consecutive win against Arkansas. Quarterback matchup KJ Jefferson is a great quarterback. Jefferson showed his skill with several big passes when he threw for 228 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 66 yards. Nix ran for 43 yards, including the game icing touchdown. Nix was marvelous except for an interception with Auburn up 14-3 late in the second quarter. He overthrew the receiver. As the first half ended, Arkansas took advantage of Jefferson leading the Razorbacks down the field for a score. Arkansas scored another touchdown on a Jefferson 30-yard pass to begin the second half to take a 17-14 lead. Jefferson threw both of his touchdowns to Treylon Burks. Nix got into gear after Arkansas took the lead. He completed passes to 10 different Tiger receivers. The running game is back for a day for Auburn. Arkansas had 232 yards rushing versus 135 for Auburn. However, Tank Bigsby had 68 yards and a touchdown. Nix also ran for a touchdown. Auburn still needs work on the ground game. But they got enough yards to get the win against Arkansas. Defense Arkansas got across the 50 into Auburn territory the majority of the game. However, Auburn kept the Razorbacks out of the end zone consistently. Auburn got two critical stops on fourth down. It also helps when the offense scores following stops as the Tigers did against Arkansas. Receivers were better There was a lot of criticism for the wideouts in last week’s Georgia loss. They were much better against Arkansas. Robertson’s 71-yard catch was huge. Shedrick Jackson had five catches for 61 yards to lead all receivers. 5. they went to remove five spots off her liver and could not even do that because they had to remove her uterus and ovaries. they already got a huge tumor from her intestines and she has to have the bag. so if the female stuff was cancerous she is probably a goner and we are still very close. but enough about that i am bringing myself down.
  6. the crow since you do not seem to understand is they can win without tj like i suggested. why is this so hard? are you mad at someone enjoying a game? i needed it. i have a lot on me. my second ex is fighting for her life right now in maryland with cancer so let me enjoy a small vistory ok?
  7. man i am trying to have some fun and enjoy THIS game. i am well aware of our record.
  8. dag is your man crush? is is right above ya on posts...lol
  9. yep. bo loved to hit. dye had to stay on him to avoid tackles instead of running through them if he had a choice. who was the badass LB bo just killed in the nfl?
  10. i think they read the fam and like to mess with us. they set us up and set us up and then BOOM! they makes us eat our words with their play.
  11. i said tj needed more playing time as i did not think bo was quite getting it done and maybe the team doubted him. after the arkie game we can clearly see that is just not true. so bless me father i have sinned. i will repeat the creed a dozen times and give a hundred war eagles! any of you guys got anything ya want to get off your chest? grins
  12. i imagine we are banged up. we need an off week to heal.
  13. nothing smells worse than a wet hog..............
  14. you one chance......one. and ya blew it lol
  15. i am not being gay here or anything but i would love to smoke one with you. i bet you are a hoot to be around. um not saying that you slept in a tree or anything. grins
  16. i was just worrying out loud. i like coach harsin and i do believe he will get it done.
  17. does this mean we need to bring a wife or girlfriend? lol
  18. Franks is not here so let me be Frank............i am not sure we win another game other than maybe SC and i am worried about that. maybe if we get pappy back we do better but the offense just seems to get worse and worse and i wonder if bo might have lost the team. this is just my own personal gut feeling. i think playing tj some is a must to show the team the staff is trying to win. pull out all the stops. the article with cube getting on bo about his body language is a worry to me. and i am not disrespecting bo but if he does act immature it hurts the team and i believe it hurts bo in the teams eyes. bo is tough and he is a gamer and i will pull as hard for him as anyone on the team saturday. i am seriously asking a question. when bo throws a pass does he leave his receivers out to dry so to speak? are they getting hit more than normal and it is a problem or am i over thinking again? and i guarantee you guys arkie wants to beat us pretty bad.
  19. Five reasons Auburn will beat Arkansas JD McCarthy 3-4 minutes Auburn is set for another tough game Saturday. The Tigers will travel to Fayetteville to take on No. 17 Arkansas. The Razorbacks are coming off losses to Ole Miss and Arkansas and are looking to return to the form that had them 4-0 to start the season. This will be Bryan Harsin’s second conference game on the road after beating LSU in Baton Rouge earlier this season. In the non-conference slate, Harsin and his Tigers lost to Penn State for the first loss of his Auburn tenure. It will be a tough game for Auburn to win but here are five reasons they will win against the Razorbacks. John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports Arkansas started the season with a strong run defense but that has fallen apart over the past two weeks. Georgia and Ole Miss combined to rush for 597 yards, eight touchdowns and 5.7 yards per attempt. This matchup is exactly what Auburn needs to get Tank Bigsby, Jarquez Hunter and the rushing attack back on track. Expect Auburn to run early, often and with success. John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports Arkansas uses a balanced attack on offense but will have a tough time moving the ball on the ground against a strong Auburn run defense. The Tigers are allowing opponents to rush for just 2.91 yards per carry on the ground and only Georgia and Georgia State have rushed for more than three yards per carry. Auburn can force Arkansas to be unbalanced on offense then they may be able to limit a potent Arkansas offense. Even if they are unbalanced, they will have a dangerous passing attack led by K.J. Jefferson and Treylon Burks but it will be an easier task for the Auburn defense. John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports The Razorbacks are averaging 1.67 sacks per game and have not recorded a sack in their past two games. Their 1.67 sacks per game is the second worst mark in the SEC. If Nix is able to stay in the pocket and deliver accurate throws, then Auburn will have a chance to get their passing attack going. Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports The Razorbacks have converted on 36.84% of their third down opportunities, which is 13th in the SEC and ahead of only Vanderbilt. Auburn’s defense has allowed opponents to convert on 35.71% of their chances on third down, good enough for seventh in the SEC and 48th in the country. Auburn should be able to take advantage of this and cut short some of the Razorbacks drives and get the ball back to the offense. John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports This has been a very one-sided rivalry in recent years, Auburn has won the last five straight and seven of the last eight games. This Arkansas team is far superior to some of those teams that Auburn beat, but Fayetteville has not been a tough place for Auburn to play recently.
