  1. so when do you guys start throwing gays off of buildings like the muslims did? evangelicals can blow all the smoke you want but you dislike gays and would prefer to do a number of bad things to them other than just let them alone and afford them the basic human rights everyone else gets.
  2. he was thought of fondly by most as a great player. now that the republicans are using him because he is handicapped he is the laughing stock of the nation and he does not realize his own party has made fun of him and they will use him up until they no longer need him. values? and it trickles down to get his family as well. it is a sad situation and in all reality he should be removed. nope they do not care about him and said so they are just interested in not losing that seat. people that use mentally retarded people are garbage and there is no defense for it. hell i bet he has head trauma from back in his playing days as well. it is sickening.

  5. i expected a little outrage but i just remembered she is in your party..............
  6. “And when she is referring to Democrats as predators,” continues Moodie, “when she is saying that we are going after children, talking about mutilation and all of these things, what she is signaling to the Republican Party, to her base, is that we are at war.” Andy agrees, saying that he’s been telling everyone for a while now that Greene isn’t a joke. if she accused me to my face of being a ped i would be hard pressed not to slap the hell out of her. and trust me when i say i am extremely non violent. if we brought back duels we might not have to suffer this kind of stupidity too long.
  7. from my point of view when grimes was here last time i believe he was well liked. i do not remember a single comment against him.
  8. Column: That unbelievably racist ad during the Dodgers playoff? Ex-Trump aides were behind it Michael Hiltzik Mon, October 17, 2022 at 2:56 PM In this article: Donald Trump 45th President of the United States Former White House senior advisor Stephen Miller is connected to a racist TV commercial attacking President Biden and Democrats. (Evan Vucci / Associated Press) As if Dodger fans didn't have enough to nauseate them during Saturday's playoff game against the San Diego Padres, the telecast featured an openly racist commercial blaming President Biden and other Democrats for illegal immigration. Airing during the mid-fourth inning break of the game that eliminated the Dodgers from the post-season, the ad consisted of video images depicting a torrent of obviously Latino immigrants pouring over the border. "This giant flood of illegal immigration is draining your paychecks, wrecking your schools, ruining your hospitals, threatening your family," stated the overwrought narrator, over the obligatory ominous soundtrack. "Mixed among the masses are drug dealers, sex traffickers and violent predators." Vote to keep our borders, jails and bathrooms open. Vote progressive Sarcastic billboard sponsored by right-wing Citizens for Sanity Who's behind this commercial? The ad identifies its sponsor only as "Citizens for Sanity," but that last line should give you a further clue: It's an organization of several former Trump aides who spearheaded his administration's attacks on immigrants. The ad's characterization of immigrants as criminals almost exactly echoes Trump's line during his announcement of his presidential campaign in 2015 about Mexican immigrants: "They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists." The leaders of Citizens for Sanity are associated with the America First Legal Foundation, which was founded by Stephen Miller, its president. Notoriously, Miller was an architect of Trump's cruel and crude immigrant family separation policy, his Muslim ban and his shutdown of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which defers deportation for immigrants brought to the U.S. as minors by their parents and allows them to work, but requires regular renewals. A whole page on the website of the Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks hate groups, is devoted to Miller. The immigration ad isn't Citizens for Sanity's only product during this election cycle. Another video blames "woke" politicians — specifically Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Vice President Kamala Harris — for fomenting a tide of urban violent crime, illustrated by a sequence of random videos of gunplay, shoplifting and street assaults. Another video attacks transgender athletes with the tagline, "Tell Biden and his radical allies: No men in girls' sports." The group has also erected billboards nationwide, including in California, with sarcastic, infantile glosses on Democratic policies: "Vote to keep our borders, jails and bathrooms open. Vote progressive"; "Demand Transportation Equity for Pansexuals NOW"; "Too much freedom is a bad thing. Get your IRS audit today." And so on. The connections tying together Miller, the America First Legal Foundation, and Citizens for Sanity have been laid out by the nonprofit group Open Secrets, which tracks money in politics. A public document cited by OpenSecrets identifies the top executives of Citizens for Sanity as Gene Hamilton, Ian Prior and John Zadrozny. Prior told OpenSecrets that his group has “no relationship with America First Legal Foundation.” Is that so? Prior identifies himself on his own LinkedIn page as "Senior Advisor for America First Legal." Hamilton is vice president and general counsel of America First Legal. Zadrozny is identified on America First Legal's website as its deputy director for investigations. All three have impeccable credentials as former Trump aides. Prior was a Justice Department spokesman during the Trump administration. While working in the Trump administration, Hamilton wrote the memo that formally ended DACA, according to a deposition he gave that was cited by the New Yorker. Zadrozny worked at the State Department and the White House under Trump, according to emails published by the progressive organization Democracy Forward. Citizens for Sanity didn't respond to my request for comment. That brings us back to the playoff commercial. It isn't clear how widely the commercial has been aired, but it's not a California-only phenomenon — Will Bunch of the Philadelphia Inquirer caught that one and the urban violence commercial during Phillies playoff telecasts. Fox Sports didn't respond to my questions about the commercial schedule or whether the ad was reviewed by any standards department at Fox. Citizens for Sanity has indicated that it will spend at least six figures promoting its messages. If that's so, brace yourself for an outpouring of misleading and mendacious ads. The immigration commercial, for example, makes much of the arrest of an immigrant in connection with the rape of a 3-year-old child. The ad asks, "Who is Joe Biden letting into our country?" The image associated with that point, however, refers to the case of Christopher Puente, which occurred in 2020. According to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Puente was deported in 2014, under the Obama administration, but managed to re-enter the country with false papers. At the time of the alleged sexual assault, he was at large after being arrested by the Chicago Police Department and then released despite a request by ICE to detain him, according to the agency. There are several candidates for blame in that episode, but Biden is not among them. As for where the money for the ad campaign is actually coming from, good luck finding out. Citizens for Sanity is a "dark money" group, meaning that it doesn't have to disclose its donors. Had the commercial been directed at a local political campaign or a California ballot initiative, its principal funders would have to be listed on the air. But it's a national ad, so its backers are anonymous. The demonization of outsiders for political gain isn't new, of course. In 1934, when the writer and socialist Upton Sinclair ran for governor of California on a leftist platform, movie studios contributed to the campaign against him by producing newsreels depicting tramps and hobos surging over the state line to take advantage of the generous pensions Sinclair proposed for resident seniors; in that case, the images were stock footage from movies then in production. And who can forget the Willie Horton affair, when George H.W. Bush's campaign aired a commercial aiming to blame Michael Dukakis, his Democratic opponent, for the rape and murder committed by a Black felon who was on a weekend furlough from prison. That ad had all the same grand guignol elements as the Citizens for Sanity commercial — mainly racism and fear of crime — but it seems almost understated today compared with the turbocharged bigotry on view on your television screens today. Can anyone look at this product and say American politics are in a healthy condition? This story originally appeared in Los Angeles Times.
  9. Marjorie Taylor Greene Isn’t Joking. She’s Pushing ‘War.’ The Daily Beast Tue, October 18, 2022 at 3:40 AM·3 min read In this article: Marjorie Taylor Greene American politician (born 1974) Andrew Levy Commentator and humorist Photo Illustration by Thomas Levinson/The Daily Beast/Getty Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s hateful rhetoric isn’t a joke. She wants to start a war, says podcaster Danielle Moodie on the latest episode of The New Abnormal podcast. Moodie, who joined as guest co-host of the show alongside host Andy Levy, tore into the Georgia Republican after listening to a recent clip of Greene making Democrats out to be child predators. According to Moodie, the left and the media have been grossly underestimating the congresswoman’s propensity for violence. Subscribe to The New Abnormal on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, Amazon Music, or Overcast. “Ever since Marjorie Taylor Greene entered into Congress, she’s been looked at primarily as a joke, right? We have said she’s the QAnon queen. She is the conspiracy theorist’s conspiracy theorist. Like she is absolutely crazy. She has said things about Jewish people operating lasers from outer space. But what I want folks to take away from that rant that she went on is that Marjorie Taylor Greene is not representative of the fringe of the Republican Party. She is the mainstream of the Republican Party,” Moodie says during the episode’s opening brief. “Now anyone that thinks Mitt Romney is a better representation of the Republican Party right now than Marjorie Taylor Greene is nuts. This is her party, the party that Trump made over, that she is part and parcel of. This stuff has to be taken seriously at the highest levels,” he adds. Moodie then makes a pointed plea to Democrats to shut down these dangerous GOP talking points: “You need to direct the American people to exactly who is taking away your rights. Who is making your communities more dangerous. Who is putting your children under threat.” ‘Not a Prayer in Hell’ Trump Will Testify Before the Jan. 6 Committee Also on this episode: The Intercept investigative reporter Ken Klippenstein explains where the United States currently stands with the Trump- and Putin-friendly Saudis, who are gearing up to screw President Joe Biden over, big-time. And for good measure, Klippenstein shares all the ways we could **** over Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman without war, if we wanted to. Plus! Daily Beast media editor and editor of the media newsletter Confider, Andrew Kirell, joins to give Andy the inside scoop on how Fox News is handling the deranged Kayne West clips that were cut from his segment on Tucker Carlson’s show and then subsequently leaked.

  20. Derick Hall makes midseason Lombardi watchlist Published: Oct. 17, 2022, 7:04 p.m. 10/15/22; Oxford, MS, USA; Derick Hall (29) pregame before Auburn vs Ole Miss Todd Van Emst/AU AthleticsTodd Van Emst//AU Athletics NEW! By Nubyjas Wilborn | nwilborn@al.com Accolades continue to pile up for Auburn Edge rusher Derick Hall. On Monday, the senior made the midseason watchlist for the 2022 Rotary Lombardi Award, presented annually to the college football offensive or defensive lineman who, in performance and ability, exemplifies the character and discipline of Pro Football Hall of Fame head coach Vince Lombardi. The Mississippi native had 10 tackles (seven solos) on Saturday in the Auburn loss against Ole Miss. Hall has 40 total tackles and 27 solo on the season through seven games. Hall has seven tackles for loss and four sacks, an interception, and a forced fumble. Hall is one of 90 players to make the list and the Southeastern Conference has 15 players. Auburn is on a bye week and returns to action Oct 29 against Arkansas at Jordan-Hare.
  21. John Samuel Shenker: 'It’s a lot about recovery' The bye week came at a good time for the Auburn Tigers. Zac Blackerby 17 hours ago After Auburn's third loss in a row during a trip to Ole Miss, the Tigers find themselves at the bye week. It comes at a good time for Auburn as many players are banged up. TJ Finley missed time due to a shoulder injury, Marcus Harris and Derick Hall got banged up against Ole Miss, and other players are having to take on a bigger role due to Eku Leota being out for the season. All of these injuries on top of just the weekly grind that playing a physical schedule brings to a roster. Auburn tight end and captain John Samuel Shenker spoke to the value that a bye week brings. "For the most part it’s a lot about recovery for the guys that have had a lot of playing time, guys are beat up, little nicks and bruises - trying to get them healthy - you’ve got two weeks to do that, which is a lot of time," Shenker said. "That’s a big key. And then also we look back on ourselves and what we've done throughout the season and we’ll look and we’ll try and fine-tune some things this week, just one or two things. Really just gets to the backups really for the second half of the season, so to speak. It’s more about getting healthy and just fine-tuning some things dealing with us, not really much with the next opponent yet, just really what we can to do get better." Shenker and the Tigers will host the Arkansas Razorbacks next weekend in Jordan Hare Stadium.
  22. Auburn football: 5 top candidates for team MVP of the 2022 season Glenn Sattell Glenn Sattell is an award-winning freelance writer for Saturday Down South. 4 minutes Auburn has a bye week after falling to 3-4 on the season and 1-3 in the SEC with a 48-34 loss at Ole Miss on Saturday. It’s a time to stop, take a breath and reflect on the season and what can be done to improve it over the final 5 games. Now that it appears as though Auburn won’t be making a coaching change until a new athletic director is hired, other questions bubble to the surface: Like will the Tigers get to 6 wins and continue their bowl streak that stands at 9 consecutive years? And will they finish with a winning record? Only 3 times this century have the Tigers failed to finish a season with a winning record. One of those times, of course, was last year when Auburn closed the 2021 season with a bowl loss and a 6-7 mark. You have to go back to Gene Chizik’s final year of 2012 to find a losing season before that. The Tigers stumbled to a 3-9 record, and that was the last season in which they did not make a bowl game. The only other losing season this century was Tommy Tuberville’s final campaign on the Plains. His 2008 Auburn team went 5-7. Auburn’s remaining schedule doesn’t lend itself an easy path to a winning season. Home games against Arkansas (Oct. 29), Texas A&M (Nov. 12) and Western Kentucky (Nov. 19) will be challenging enough without the addition of road games against Mississippi State (Nov. 5) and Alabama (Nov. 26). Coming up with 3 victories from that group of games will be a tall task. To do so, the Tigers will need continued excellence from these 5 players, who are among the team’s best MVP candidates for 2022: 1. Tank Bigsby The junior running back ranks 12th on Auburn’s all-time rushing list with 2,457 career rushing yards. He churned out 179 yards on Saturday against Ole Miss to pass Tigers Michael Dyer (2010-11) and Stacy Danley (1987-90) on Auburn’s all-time list and is just 37 yards behind Kerryon Johnson (2015-17) as he moves up the ladder. Bigsby’s performance on Saturday was the 2nd-best of his career next to a 192-yard game in the 2020 season finale against Mississippi State. His 50-yard TD dash on Saturday was the longest of his career, as he turned in his 2nd 100-yard game of the season and 11th of his career. 2. Owen Pappoe The senior linebacker leads the Tigers in tackles with 58 and recorded a career-high 16 on Saturday against Ole Miss. It was the 6th double-digit tackle game of his career. 3. Derick Hall The senior has been a force on the edge this season. He leads the team and is tied for 5th in the SEC in tackles for loss (7.0) and also paces the Tigers while being tied for 4th in the SEC with 4.0 sacks. 4. John Samuel Shenker Shenker is Auburn’s all-time leader in receptions by a tight end with 66. This season, he has hauled in 18 passes, 2nd on the team to Ja’Varius Johnson (19), who is yet another candidate for team MVP for 2022. Shenker is 3rd all-time at Auburn in career receiving yardage (755) for tight ends. He needs 75 more yards to pass career leader Cooper Wallace (2002-05). 5. Anders Carlson The senior kicker has made 8 of 10 field-goal tries this season and is now 2nd on Auburn’s career scoring list with 394 points and 2nd in career field goals made (75), trailing brother Daniel Carlson in both categories. He ranks 6th on the SEC all-time scoring list and 8th on its career list of field goals made.
