  3. Whispers Of Words · This is probably going to tick some people off, and I hope it does. But I’m going to keep on sharing it and saying it. And once again, I am not a Swiftie, but I am a human being, a Dad AND, a Monstrous Football fan. I am extremely disappointed in so many of you who think that "not being a fan" of someone means you're entitled to s*** all over them. I want to remind you of something. Your children are watching you complain about Taylor Swift sitting at a football game, being happy, and cheering for a man she loves in what appears to be a very loving, respectful relationship. Your Children are watching you judge a woman for literally just EXISTING and taking up space happily. And you know what? Ms. Swift has won 324 awards? How many do you have? She brought $5 BILLION dollars in consumer spending and boosted the U. S. economy so significantly, that leaders from other countries actually beg for her to play there? Did you know that there are over 20 college courses about her skills as an artist, lyricist, and musician - including at places like Harvard, Stanford & UC Berkeley? Did you know that Taylor Swift quietly donates mass amounts of money to local food banks in every city she performs in? AND DID YOU KNOW … That Taylor Swift was sexually assaulted by a radio DJ, and she got him fired? When he sued HER for over $3 million for defamation, she counter sued for a symbolic $1 in a court case that took 2 YEARS for her to win. And, she did that just to show women that fighting for what's right has no price tag & to never be silent in the face of oppression. WELL IF YOU DON’T CARE BY NOW, YOU SHOULD. Because your daughters, nieces, and your nephews are watching you run your mouth. And they are seeing the world hate a woman who does so much good, simply because she exists in their line of sight. DO BETTER PEOPLE. Teach your boys to respect women. Teach your girls that as women - they are ALLOWED to take up space. Fix it. Become aware of your words. Because we all have the ability and the obligation to fight for the future of our children with simple moments. And we need to consciously choose to be better for them.

  6. 247sports.com Jason Caldwells Monday morning quarterback column Jason Caldwell ~4 minutes Equal footing By my count there were 15 games this week in college basketball that saw a ranked team lose to an unranked team. Of those 15, 12 were on the road as teams continue to struggle playing away from home this year. While we focus on Auburn and fans here live and die with the Tigers, the simple truth is that coach Bruce Pearl’s team isn’t any different than the other good teams in the country. At home, Auburn is as good as anyone. On the road, they are very vulnerable. That’s the same story with every team in the nation at the moment. The key for this team is going to be winning at home. With South Carolina and Kentucky up this week, beating the Gamecocks and Wildcats is the most important thing for the Tigers at the moment. Going to Georgia will be a challenge and Tennessee in Knoxville will be very difficult, but Auburn’s other game is at Missouri. If the Tigers take care of business at home and split the Georgia and Tennessee games, the Tigers would finish at 14-4 in league play. You do that and you’ll have a great chance to finish in the top four in the league and challenge for the SEC title. Big road win for women’s basketball Auburn got a road win on Sunday, going to Missouri and beating the Tigers 70-59 behind 24 points for Honest Scott-Grayson. It was the fourth-straight 20-point game for the guard as coach Johnnie Harris’ group continues to make strides. The Tigers are now 15-8 overall and 4-6 in SEC play with a home game against Kentucky coming up on Thursday at 6 p.m. before a road game in Tuscaloosa on Sunday. While there is a road game at LSU ahead, Auburn has home games against Texas A&M and Miss. State before a road trip to Florida to end things. One more win would equal last season’s 16 wins, which was the most for an Auburn team since the Tigers made the NCAA Tournament in 2018-19 and finished 22-10 overall and 9-7 in SEC play. Record setting weekend for No. 1 men’s golf team Despite finishing third in the Amer Air tournament in Hawaii, the Auburn men’s golf team set a school record for shooting a total of 58-under par in three rounds. “I’m very proud of our level of play this week,” head coach Nick Clinard said. “We hung in there and competed with some elite-level competitors. It’s the best performance we’ve had in a spring opener in quite some time, which is a great sign of what’s to come for this team. We’ll head home proud of our body of work but hungry to be even stronger the next time we step out there.” Freshman Jackson Koivun tied the school record for 54 holes, shooting a total of 17-under par for the tournament. It’s the second time this year that the freshman has matched the school record for lowest 54-hole score.’ Stepping up Chase Allsup came to Auburn as one of the top signees in his class, but hasn’t been the consistent pitcher yet for the Tigers. As Auburn prepares for the season opener this weekend against Eastern Kentucky at Plainsman Park, the junior RHP has continued to put together strong outing after strong outing in the preseason and looks poised to take the next step in 2024. With a record of 2-2 in two seasons and an ERA of 4.69 in 43 appearances, Allsup has started just eight games but looks to be a weekend guy for the Tigers this season. Showcasing a fastball in the mid 90’s and improving off speed stuff, Allsup’s development is one of the keys for Auburn’s success this season.
  7. Forwarded this email? Subscribe here for more Democrats, wake the **** up and learn how to fight cut this high-minded non-partisan s*** right now Jeff Tiedrich Feb 13 READ IN APP Robert Hur’s biased and unprofessional hit job on Joe Biden didn’t happen in a vacuum. this high-minded mania that Democrats have for allowing themselves to get played by right-wing Special Counsels goes back at least 30 years. Upgrade to paid in 1994, the wingnut howler-monkey infrastructure was shrieking for an investgation into a land deal in which Bill and Hillary Clinton lost money. then-Attorney General Janet Reno, wanting to appear all fair-minded and non-partisan and s***, appointed a Republican Special Counsel, Robert Fiske, to head what became known as the Whitewater Investigation. Fiske concluded that the Clintons had done nothing criminal, but the panel of three ultra-conservative judges who oversaw the Counsel were all **** no, you useless dick, “innocent” not the answer we’re looking for and — because this is how the Special Counsel thing worked back then, thanks to a law signed by Bill Clinton, who also didn’t want to appear partisan — they fired Fiske and replaced him with pantysniffing prig Kenneth Starr. Starr, of course, quite famously wasted tens of millions of taxpayer dollars and turned the failed-land-deal investigation into a prosecution and impeachment over a blow job. (fun true fact: did you know that the Starr Report — which was pretty much low-grade pornographic filth from cover to cover — was partially authored by none other than Brett Kavanaugh, the future Supreme Court Justice who was so blackout drunk all the way through prep school and college that he literally has no idea how many women he assaulted? weird how the same shitweasels keep popping up every time there’s ****ery afoot.) “I like beer — and porn.” all of this happened because Janet Reno didn’t want to apppear “partisan.” in July 2016, the FBI concluded its investigation into But Her Emails, clearing Hillary Clinton of any wrongdoing, noting that “no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case.” but “oh well, I guess we couldn’t find anything” wasn’t good enough for Republican FBI Director James Comey and he issued his own pissy little statement, calling Hillary “extremely careless” and whining about the State Department’s “security culture.” then, six days before the 2016 election, Comey announced that — lo and behold — he had FoUnD mOrE EmAiLs. the jackals of the media — led of course by The New York ******* Times — had a field day with that, and it probably changed the course of history. which is why this bull**** happening right now with Robert Hur — another sore loser who can’t take “there isn’t any wrongdoing here” for an answer — is sending a familiar chill up our spines. it’s déjà vu all over again. once again, we have a Democratic Attorney General — this time, Merrick Garland — obsessed with appearing nonpartisan and appointing a far-right operative — this time, the 100% MAGA Robert Hur — to lead an investigation. once again, we have a blatantly political hit job from an investigator who couldn’t find any crimes. and once again, we have a feeding frenzy from a corporate-controlled media eager to transform a “one guy is decent, the other is a fascist lunatic” clear-choice election into a both-sides-have-issues shitfest. the answer is “no, **** no — what the **** is wrong with you?” it gets better: House Republicans are planning on using Hur’s report as a pretext for more harassment of Joe Biden. so now we can look forward to Comer Fudd and the degenerate wrestling coach wasting everyone’s time on more farcical hearings. ******* awesome. heck of a job, Merrick. Republicans don’t do this to themselves. Republicans don’t give a **** about appearing non-partisan and they sure as **** don’t care about any sucker-game bull**** like fairness. you’re never going to see a Republican Attorney General appoint Elie Mystal to investigate a Republican president. in fact, what you did see was this: Republican Bill Barr named Republican Robert Mueller to investigate Republican Donald Trump, and then he had Republicans Rod Rosenstein and Robert Hur (I told you, the same shitweasels keep popping up over and over) breathe down Mueller’s neck and hamstring him with limitations into what he could investigate, and how much time he had to do it in — all with the goal of making sure that Little Donny ****face never faced serious consequences. when Mueller issued his report, Barr sat on it for a week, and came out with his own misleading summary that said Trump was fully exonerated. the public howled with outrage. Bill Barr smirked his self-satisfied smirk. because this is how Republicans roll. **** you, we do what we want. Democrats, cut this ******* high-minded s*** right now. learn from history. finally, let me conclude with words from the indespensable Charles Pierce, who sums up how we’re all feeling right now. go read the whole thing. shoot it into your veins. everyone is entitled to my own opinion is a reader-supported publication.
