I thought Davis posted a pic on twitter from campus. Not sure about that.

Transfer Portal- 0 players incoming at OL and WR. 2 huge question marks at QB. Players leaving in droves, including 8 DL. At this rate DL will look like OL within a few years. Looks like no more incoming transfers headed this way. Coaches- Lost highly respected DC and DL coach. Struck out on at least top 2 DL coach candidates. Fired WR coach four games into season, replaced with coach from Boise who everyone knew was going to be on staff at first opportunity.Fired OC who was supposed to help recruiting in the region and to top it off, lost his son to main rival at our biggest position of need. Tried to replace him with coach under the shadow of NCAA investigation, blocked by administration here. Said coach was later fired by his current employer. Hired an NFL QB coach to much acclaim, now looks like he'll never have a coaches photo taken here. OL coach was expected to be replaced according to several of the beat guys but he somehow remains after signing 1 HS OLineman and totally bombing in the portal. Recruiting- Struggled most of the early cycle, some improvement at the end to salvage a decent class. Good chance of a total bomb in the late signing period. Hard to see Schmedding/Brumbaugh as anything other than a step back in recruiting in comparison to Mason/Eason. Carnell and Ethridge(along with Trovon Reed, who we depend on desperately despite not even being an on field coach) are left trying to pick up the (considerable) slack of the other coaches in recruiting, especially with Mason and Eason gone. This all followed a season that ended with 5 consecutive losses after having a lead in most if not all of these games. And from some credible posters here, he has struggled to connect with the boosters who, like it or not, Auburn is heavily dependent on for financial support. I'm mystified how Harsin has any support left at this point.

Kiffin's done a nice job in the portal after a sub-par early signing class.

I have serious doubts about Harsin and this staffs recruiting ability, but Auburn has struggled for years to land top talent feom the Columbus/Phenix City region. I would bet Nix has little affect either way.

Bruce is a BARGAIN at this price. He cut Auburn a deal if you ask me.

The town of Auburn can rest easy tonight. The unofficial mayor of Auburn is staying home.

Its doubtful the quality will be there in the later transfers as well. Harsin inherited an awful situation at OL but hes done little to stop the bleeding.

I could never find any info on AU recruiting him but not sure. It blows my mind that we didnt gain a single WR or OL in the portal.

Bruce Feldman on why Mason left AU: “Masons relationship with Harsin was very frosty and wasnt getting better. Sources told The Athletic Mason did not enjoy working with Harsin and wasnt going to stay regardless of whether he landed the Cowboys DC vacancy or not.”

Hate to hear this. She is my favorite coaches wife ever and is beloved in Auburn.

Harsins supposedly this tough Alpha guy, but were supposed to believe he had coaches forced on him by boosters that didnt want him to begin with? And now hes sticking it to them by hiring who he really wanted to begin with? And fans need to be patient while he builds relationships with recruits, yet his staff is turning over at such a rate high schools have no clue whos walking thru the door wearing an Auburn hat? Huge recruiting day tomorow and the staff will need a meet and greet to make sure they know each others name.

The defensive staff looks weaker across the board especially in recruiting. And they were the ones holding this thing together.

Awesome. If some adult named JBoy says Not to panic I can rest easy.

This should help bring the defensive recruiting down to the offensive recruiting level.

Feldman is normally the most reliable source Ive seen for coaching news. He wont put something out like this if theres not a solid chance it happens.

The issue to me is we look to have a room full of good back-up QBs but no legitimate starter. Of the 3 transfer QBs here now, not one of them looked to be on their previous teams 2 deep depth chart. Maybe Davis works some magic here but its not a promising outlook.

More likely that we whiffed on all these transfers and pleaded with the current linemen to return. Its not like they were headed to the NFL.

Any word on the old BBQ House lot? I know the buyers didnt pay that price to put a (small) parking lot there.

No one hates Auburn fans and tries to protect Auburn coaches like Marshall. Its a time honored tradition for him..
