Our roster looks like a program thats been on probation. For the first time in years, I have confidence that Auburn has a FB coach who really understands the need to recruit QUALITY players across the board and the HC’s role in acquiring those type players. Better days are ahead.

Quality players at positions of need. Do it Freeze.

Freeze and this staff will crush it.

Kirby says its 25% evaluation, 50% recruiting and 25% coaching. Hard to argue thise numbers. I think we’re in a good place with these guys.

Local radio show had Bryan Matthews on today. He and Cameron both think AU will likely get Cleveland or Tyson but not both. Cleveland here today and Tyson Saturday.

Watching Auburn be exciting on offense, having actual big play capability, not feeling like its over if we get down 10 pts, being physical up front on both lines of scrimmage.

Id love to know what Hudson will be told about who might be throwing to him if he chooses Auburn.

Now that we have a real AD and football coach Im holding out hope that the big JH renovation will be on the board again. But, if the estimated cost was 145 million in 2016, I shudder to think what something of that scale would cost today. Our old “leadership” really dropped the ball when construction costs were relatively cheap.

Think Sledge will be right behind him. Im thinking they saw their place on the depth chart and realized even more better players will be coming in. Freeze is in win now mode and doubtful he sees much upside to playing “maybe” guys.

I believe when its clear that a QB will be the backup plan at some school after spring, the combination of playing time, Freeze calling plays and NIL opportunities will land us a QB better than what we currently have. And I could be dead wrong, I just think Freeze will convince someone to take the plunge.

Our QB play is so bad a backup QB from a top school could come here and give us an upgrade. It may not be the quality that Freeze wants for the future but will be a bridge into 2024. I just dont see Freeze going into 2023 without a QB who can make accurate throws. Which IMO, none of the current QBs are consistently(or ever) capable of.

No argument there. The 93 and 94 UF games were some of the best games Ive had the pleasure of listening/watching.

I think theres zero chance Freeze goes into this season without bringing in a QB to start over any of the three here now.
