  1. "Baker's out of TP! Sorry Baker!!"
  2. I'm not as worried about not having many recruits there as I am the atmosphere for the recruits who were there. Clemons is a HUGE prospect for us to get, because he has the potential to make a big impact from day one.
  3. Seriously. I mean, John Samuel Shenker had FIVE catches! IN ONE GAME!!! He only had 15 in the three years prior...clearly, Clemons would have been happier in the previous offense, where TEs were glorified blocking dummies... ...Just for posterity's sake, I'll likewise throw in the /s
  4. I genuinely love that man. I envy his energy and charisma.
  5. I'm going to be finding out how it all goes this year. I mean, despite the C grade that the thing gave me, I rather like my team. Of course, part of that bad grade could be drafting Cam in the last round, just for the heck of it. I've already replaced him on the roster (realized 4 of my 5 receivers have a buy week the same time), but I'll probably need to pick up a second QB for when Stafford has his buy. But yeah, like I said, we'll see how it goes.
  6. Am I the only one who thinks it sucks that right after we started appearing in the finalists list for top B-ball prospects, Bama also joined the conversation? I realize Oates (Oats?) is the real deal over there, and a part of me does think it's cool that both programs seem to be on a positive projection, but...
  7. Yes. I changed my mind about him. I wanted to keep Johnson for the value in the 10th round, and I decided that I'd rather have a bell cow type of RB that I could get with my first pick (Mixon was my third choice, if Harris had somehow gone second...or, well, third, but the #2 pick was predetermined) as well as Terry McLaurin than to just have Tyreek and lose McLaurin and probably not have one of the three RBs I'd circled make it to me in the second round. Probably not the best strategy, but I guess we'll see how it all plays out.
  8. Guess I won't be able to do it until you set keepers, though, so no point in it right this moment.
  9. I presume I can do that from my laptop?
  10. @AUBwins I asked this on the Yahoo board already, so if you answered it there you can ignore this, but how is the draft going to go? Will it give us a certain amount of time to make our selection before it makes a selection automatically, or what?
  11. Ah, I didn't know about the flex option. I know you want to have quality on the bench, but my thought was about having the third keeper be someone who might not be starting most weeks as opposed to a solid RB2 option. However, since you can start 3 receivers, I might very well keep Hill, McLaurin, AND Johnson and just go heavy on RB early on, because all 3 are going to be getting a bunch of targets.
  12. Okay, so only 2 receivers can start at a time, right? Because I'm not getting rid of Tyreek Hill, and I do like Johnson as a 10th rounder a lot, but I don't like letting Terry McLaurin go as a 4th rounder, either. I worry about D'Andre Swift's injury, but he seems a value as a 5th rounder, as well. So it seems best to just keep 2 receivers and Swift, and Johnson as a 10th rounder seems the greater value than McLaurin in the 4th. Then again, who knows how Big Ben's arm is going to do this year. And the Steelers won't be throwing as much with Najee Harris in the backfield. And there's also Juju and Claypool for Big Ben to throw to. And McLaurin is in a much better offense now than he was a year ago...I just don't know.
  13. Now, just to ensure I understand this, since Dionte Johnson was drafted in the 10th round last season, me setting him as a keeper makes him my 10th round selection, correct?
  14. Don't know if you've seen it yet, but I'm trying to get a handle on how the draft is going to work out. Based upon the message I saw about how the draft is going to go, my first round pick will necessarily be Tyreek Hill...which is all well and good, except he's #10 in PVR, so if I'm forfeiting the #1 pick for the #10 PVR, and then my next pick is #24, how is that good for me?
  15. Just to put it out there, I have never played fantasy football before. I'm having to brush up on draft strategy here...
  16. Yeah, I just responded on there when I found the board on Yahoo.
  17. I'm more concerned about when it's going to happen than what the draft order is...
  18. Mine are set, I'm just waiting on information about the draft. I'm still not sure if my email is working right or not.
  19. Okay, again, on AUFamily, we go by the ratings of 247Composite, which has us with two 5 stars that year: https://247sports.com/college/auburn/Season/2010-Football/Commits/ Why did you make the comparison between Chizik's and Harsin's second recruiting class in the first place? It couldn't have been to undercut any positivity that Harsin and company build by saying it's still not as good as the shortest tenured head coach in modern Auburn football history did, could it? No, you had no underlying motive for this thread, did you? Clue: No one has signed yet this year, only committed. Furthermore, in the past three weeks, we've picked up three 4 star prospect commitments and one 3 star who is borderline 4 stars, so it's not as if we're just going crazy because a single guy committed. *EDIT* I thought it might be prudent to point out that, in the comment I quoted here, you go from saying "have a little faith" in the middle to pointing out something that "doesn't speak well for this year's class." So which is it? Should we have a little faith, or should we be concerned? You're all over the place here lately, Mike.
  20. ...I am continually taken aback at your lack of understanding. Because no schools were dealing with it in 2010, new coaching staffs had a much better chance to connect with the players. Because all schools are dealing with it now, schools that do not have new coaching staffs have been at a much greater advantage to the place they were in at this time, relative to the schools who did have new staffs, during the 2010 recruiting cycle. Does that spell things out clearly enough for you?
  21. Guess I was just remembering wrong. No worries.
  22. Actually, that's completely true. I'm a homebody; except for work, I mostly sit at my house, playing on my computer, playing with my dog, or reading. Of course, in playing on my computer all the time, I see a great deal of memes...but then, that's mostly on Facebook, and I don't know if @Tigerpro2a is on there or not.
  23. I honestly don't have a clue, I'm just trying to come up with a reason why the paysite mods would downplay Bruce's interest. I suppose I could see either of those scenarios being the case, however. Who knows? Wasn't it the 17th, though?
