Unless I was local, I wouldn't make any trip for a non-contest blowout

I have to agree.  I'm not local and not about to make that drive for GA State, ASU or Akron.  The home conference games should most definitely be sellouts btw.

Auburn gets out of “amen corner” in November to play LSU and Georgia back to back games this year and next. Helluva trade off. So dumb.

We jumped out of the frying pan into the fire on that one.  🤦‍♂️

This is comical.  The plainsman got our schedule wrong.  MSU and bye weeks are wrong above and in the plainsman article

Wow, nice catch.  I'm glad I posted both.  The SEC one is obviously correct and The Plainsman... is completely screwed up.

WarBlogle on Twitter. Guy's a clown.

This assessment appears to be correct.  This kind of idiocy isn't helpful but I'm not surprised.  75% of twitter is snarky, insulting, propagandist, and not helpful to society in the least.  It can be entertaining at times though.

  6. WHAT STANDS OUT ABOUT AUBURN?

"I mean, it's just Monday. We haven't been really preparing all that much for them. I mean, they're big, they're physical, they're talented. They've got kind of the pick of the litter. They are Auburn, and just, they're athletic. It's just who they are. It's what they're about. In the SEC, if you look at their interior D-line, there's some mammoth men in there. But across the board, you know, they're talented. They certainly are."

ANYTHING YOU LEARNED FROM BEATING TENNESSEE 2 YEARS AGO YOU CAN USE AT AUBURN?

"No, I don't think so. When we played Tennessee — when you watched them on film, you see some obvious holes back then a few years back that we could go establish, and we just felt like we could play with them. That's no different if you're playing Auburn or you're playing Alabama or you're playing Charlotte, you know? We felt like we could go in there in Knoxville and knock them off, and we did. We're going to search through this Auburn bunch and see if we can find some creases in that defense and some struggles in that offense where we can control this game and see what happens.

"You know, it's two totally different scenarios. I don't think just because they've got a big ol' stadium right there and they like to cheer and there's going to be a little eagle fly over us, I don't think we're all going to be just shell-shocked and look up there and go, 'Oh my gosh,' you know? It's a football contest, so we'll go play it just like every other football contest."

Some of y’all are freakin nuts. One loss to a top 10 team on the road with practically the same team we had last year minus some play makers and suddenly Harsin and his staff don’t know crap and we won’t make it to a bowl game. Good gracious. Sports may not be for some of you.

I could almost understand their position if we looked out of our league and got dominated by PSU.  But we didn't.  Lost by 8 in their amped up house and had a chance to win it.  No comment on the numerous "Auburn fans" that already want to run the coaches out of town.

  8. Did he seriously say that?   72 - 0 sounds about right.

Btw, I'm hearing this team has got some talent on it and can pose a problem if taken lightly.  I hope we have seriously prepared for them and not looked past them.  That would not be good if they make a game of it or worse...😬

IMO, secondary issues are a lot of scheme issues more so than talent. We are giving WR's wayyy too big of a cushion the way they are playing zone. We are 10-15 yards off the ball, so easy for the WR to catch and run while we have had not much of a pass rush. Recipe for disaster. It's been like that in literally every game this year we just happened to get burned by it Saturday.

??  I was talking about Kobe Hudson and our wr's rotation but ok...

how you practice, how you prepare and how you handle yourself earns playing time.

I really believe it is that simple.  The foundation of a new culture is being put into place.

yep, also knowing the playbook, route adjustment and blocking play a factor I assume.
