There’s coaches and players cross crossing flying left and right all over the place. A lot of big name coaches in the SEC West now too.

Love the decisiveness Harsin continues to show.
I guess if Harsin is gonna get fired then he’s going to go down with folks he feels comfortable with and not folks he had to settle for.

We already have his Old OC from Bosie as an offensive analyst / WR coach on the staff.. i dont know why you guys think he is going to hire another OC when he has one he already trusts.

Well be careful what you wish for I guess. Do we see a promotion from within? That will be my guess.

Hell some big time pundits are predicting it to happen even if Bama loses so🤷
I believe it. All while many of their fans excuse for the close win at Auburn was because they’re “down” this year. #derp. In the media they’re always the best 1, 2 or 3 loss team in America but when they look crappy winning they’re “down” this year… just like the year before.

Yep they should but we all know it will be time for the annual Georgia choke job and they will lose, still make the playoffs and it will probably be a Bama-Georgia NC game.
I can see this whole scenario playing out. If it does it will be proof that God and ESPN truly hate most of America.

Our recruiting coordinator just started following Dillon Gabriel and Jack Miller. Gonna be a fun off season for you Bo bros
Jack Miller? I heard Gabriel would seek out Kiffen at OM, perhaps his offense suits his skills better, idk.

I expect we will see Bo starting for Auburn next year.

1.3 Million/yr is a lot to pay for a QB coach
We're due a substantial refund from what I witnessed this season.

Lincoln Riley to USC
Big coup by the Pac-12

I'm trying to figure Riley out. Was he not good or liked at OK? They're gonna be in the SEC so I'm not sure why he would leave OK for USC?

...Gus just lost his premier QB to the portal last night: He passed for over 6,000 yds his first two yrs in college and had a crazy TD:int ratio. This kid put his name in the portal within 24 hrs of Friday's win.
Has he been picked up yet?!?

that was alot of senior leadership to go 6-6. Say what you want about the talent level of that leadership, but that really makes you tepid on predicting much out of 2022
That's what I was thinking. 35 freaking SR's... wow.

You forgot Colby Wooden. He is draft eligible.
I think the only one who possibly leaves is Pappoe but I believe he comes back, too.
Does Wooden or Pappoe have a chance to be drafted??

In our History, Auburn has played 1,282 football games. 7 times we have beaten the number 1 ranked team in the country. That is, .5% of our games in our entire history have resulted in a victory over Number 1. I can't find stats on how many times we have beaten the number 3 team in the country, but my guess is it is probably somewhat more. Let's just say double it = 1%. Yesterday, we were 2 yards, one interception, one holding call, one hurt qb, 4 OTs away from doing what has historically happened only 1% of the time for us. I understand people "not being into moral victories," but the way you play in loses is very important. These men were on a 3 game losing streak and beat the number 3 team in the country for 59 minutes and 20 seconds. Flame away, but if you can't see a ton of good in what took place yesterday, you are likely to live a long and miserable life. I promise you, recruits came away very impressed.
Indeed. A #3 team that's 3 deep in Blue Chips at every position cherry picked by super coach and we should have won. I hate our guys lost but I liked the fight I saw in our players, especially the defense.

Recruiting is gonna make or break him, simple as that.
Agree. The future offense/OC will be the next factor. Talent along the front and QB will cure a lot if ills but this offense has been sub-optimal for most the year.

Please no
Exactly. Between the anti and pro Gustavs, I don't think this fan base would survive a loss to him. The constant Gus/Auburn/Harsin commentary during the game would be horrendous also.

Harsin is officially baptized into SEC football and the “total experience” of what it is to be a HC at Auburn. I’m sure he isn’t pleased with the results and realizes the enormous task he has in front of him and his staff so I’m sure he loves questions such as this.

The entire defense played their best game of the year but our DL kicked some serious ass all night until they just ran out of gas. Kudos to Mason’s defenders. They played well enough to win.

Bobo was not a popular hire from day one. No matter what he does people are gonna find fault in what he does because they simply don't like him from his previous job performances. For example, Bo flat out said that he had 5 pre-snap reads to make on the 4th and 1 play and he chose to throw the fade. Everyone blames Bobo because one of the routes is a fade. Personally I was indifferent on the Bobo hire and I don't have much of a problem with his play calling. I do not think we have the right talent to run the offense that the coaches really want to run. We shall see. To each their own, I guess.
While I agree Bobo doesn’t have much to work with on offense it’s hard for me to see him getting another chance next year. At the same time I wouldn’t be shocked to see Bobo back next season either.

I get not wanting to put DD in a situation like that in his first year and have him make a boneheaded play. But why not have a backup QB ready? Why not have a wildcat package ready? Why not ask TJ to make some safe short throws in the 4th Q like we asked him to do in OT? So many questions.
Short answer is the offense wasn’t prepared but the defense sure as hell was.

Bobo out as OC

You make it sound like Bobo was Harsin’s #1 choice when he was hired. That’s news to me.
